hello! anyone tried talisay-tagaytay road? grabe ang tarik wlng sinabi yun baguio kenon road.

^ i've taken the talisay road before, but i was using another vehicle. incidentally, i just got back from baguio via kennon road. piece of cake for the pica. then we proceeded to hundred islands (alaminos). compared to our pagudpud trip, this one was a walk in the park.

Last friday May 14 i have purchased a new battery for our pica for 27 months of used. Motolite gold for the new battery. 2 times na ngparamdam yun batterya ko 2 times ako ngpatulak e

nakabitan ko na rin flashband lahat ng doors ko! tumahimik naman ng at hindi na rin tunog lata pagsara ng pinto sana lang maglast ng matagaltagal yun flashband.

kahapon napansin ko hindi umiilaw yun brake light ko pero lahat ng lights ko ok naman. sa casa kanina umaga pinacheck ko brake light switch yun sira buti nalang under warranty so wala ako binayaran. hindi ko sure kung kahapon lang wala ako brake light o kahapon ko lang napansin

Mga bossing...nagbabalak po kaming bumili ng 2nd hand Picanto this July. Ano po bang dapat i-consider sa bagbibili nito? Kaya po ba nito up to 5 persons? Nagtatravel po kami from Marilao bulacan to QC every day. kaya po kaya iyon ng Picanto? Ano po ba ang dapat kong bilhin? thanks :D

Hi!

We just got our Pia (Picanto) last Saturday (June 19, 2010). It's a red one. So far, so good. Really enjoyed the fuel consumption during my first 2 days of driving it along SLEX.

Compared to our toyang (Toyota Liftback '80), which is a 1.5L 2T, Pia is really helping out in terms of fuel economy.

By the way, I am just concerned regarding the black dents already showing up especially on the sides, the advise of the casa (KIA) is to avail of their service (waxing) which will help in cleaning those dents and will protect the car for atleast 6mos. or 1 year. But I think the price is too much. Any suggestions regarding applying wax or alternative?

walang issue sa paakyat.

nung una nga, natatakot ako kasi may nababasa ako dito na yung ibang brands nahihirapan umakyat sa shangrila mall na sobrang tarik daw.

pero yung picanto ko, i have taken it to all the carparks na pataas, nadala ko na rin madalas out of town, pero okay sya.

Anyone looking for stock tires for your Picanto? Ung Hankook. Forgot the exact specs.

Was only supposed to replace two tires, but ended up buying 4 na iba na specs since the Hankook ones were so expensive. Mga 70% thread life remaining, even wear. Can let both tires go for P2t. 09228237801

I posted this review on the wrong thread, heheh.

Nothing much to say really. Except for a couple or so annoyances, whatever it was I said back in 80,000km review remains about the same. Occasionally I hear something vibrating underneath. I think it's the muffler again. It happens when the car's rpm is low, like from stop I'd go to 20kph in first gear and not pressing enough on the gas pedal before releasing the clutch. And of course, that intermittent rubbery squeaking sound on the front when I negotiate a hump, the origin of which, so far, the dealer has succeeded in NOT locating.

Here's a photo of my 2004 Picanto's dashboard panel. As of this writing, the odo reads 103,000+km.



Still one click start. Engine never stalled. No leaks of any sort. Aside from the minor annoyances above, no problems at all. Stock parts only, no mods. Casa maintained all throughout.

My Picanto has the exact same problem as yours. That annoying noise coming from under the vehicle and the squeaking rubbery sound when going down from a hump. Have you had it fixed yet?

i own an 05 Picanto LX. compressor is annoyingly noisy. sprayed the compressor with WD40, made the squeaky noise disappear. i was just wondering, in the event that i have to replace my compressor, do you guys have any idea how much this would cost? do they have this is goodgear or in surplus shops in Banawe?

My Picanto has the exact same problem as yours. That annoying noise coming from under the vehicle and the squeaking rubbery sound when going down from a hump. Have you had it fixed yet?

have the same problem. the culprit: the exhaust system's flexible pipe which connects the headers to the piping

may 2008 ako na picanto a/t, malakas umakyat lalo pag ginamit mo overdrive...peru lately hard-start sya peru pag umandar normal na, then palala ng palala ung problema until palyado na ang makina, dinala ko sa Casa ang findings nila ay loose- compression ung isang piston dahil may deformed na 1 valve...until now hindi pa rin tapos. ( 1 year kasi na na-stock sa garahe na walang warm up)

My 06 Picanto had the same problem it was fixed by replacing 2 stabilizer links which cost Php 750 each.

Anyway, glad to have joined this community and hope to get more tips and suggestions along the way to keep our Picas running well.
