Ayon dito, sa Malaysia 5 months daw ang waiting period. Sa Denmark 8 months daw... ngeeekkkk! Di ko alam kung kelan darating yung Philippine orders. Depende siguro kung hindi maharang ng ibang bansa... hehehe.

Nagtatake advantage nga ang Wheels! Iwent to their branch in E Rod branch and sabi nila tumaas ang price to P355k! Dinagdagan ng color-keyed bumpers, foglamps and wheels covers!

ganyan talaga some car companies like columbia motors. they increase the price of the next batch when they find out that there is a big demand in the market for their cars. that happened to me several years ago when i wanted to buy a car from them.

bad trip naman kung tataas. dapat yung nakapagreserve na e 320000 pa rin yung price. wag naman sila masyado magmukhang pera.

balita ko mga next week na ang dating sa dealers. but i read also sa newspaper or sa isang website na to date 70 cars pa lang ang nabebenta nila whereas ang initial import nila was 200+ cars. do i smell a deliberate attempt to hold back sales so they can increase their price and earn more profit?

if thats how they do business eh sa toyota or honda na lang ako. at least subok na sa quality, mabilis pa kausap. di katulad ng kia, sabi nung una second week of october and delivery. then naging 2nd week ng november. di nga nila alam kung ano talaga ang darating, kung black bumpers or kung may hubcaps. Ako importer din ako so im 100% sure na alam na nila dapat kung ilan and ano ang dadating. actually common sense lang naman. so di nila alam kung ano ang dadating, e pano kung gulong ng tricycle kinabit ng kia korea. loko pala sila e.

sir geo 70 cars lang talaga ang initial na nilabas ng kia... i dunno how many ang imported basta kahit saang dealers ata ang sinasabi is 70 nga lang ang initial..

oo nga if nakapagpareserve na sa 320,000 dapat hindi na tumaas yan.. thats bad customer service IMHO

AFAIK, sold simultaneously yung 320k version at yung 350k dress-up version.

sana wag magtaas. sa silver color i think babagay na ang black bumpers. lagyan ko na lang ng hubcap ng fog lamps mukhang crv na. then alarm.

pero bad trip ang yayabang talaga ng mga ahente ng picanto. alam kasi nila na mabenta e.

Di naman kailiangan... medyo umaakit na ang Kia at Hyundai, at least in terms of quality and design... durability and reliability are still unknown at this point.

May nakausap akong ibang ahente. Ang sabi nya sa January maraming darating. She thinks that the price of those units would be 320k. I just hope that my wife would not change her mind then na payagan ako bumili ng Picanto!

the problem with Kia is that they don't have a regional facility dedicated to the SEA market. if you noticed, their vehicles are all imported from Korea.

another thing, it seems that the dealers handling Kia is still fumbling on how to treat customers. I hope that they've already learned on how they badly handled the Mazda brand a few years ago (before Ford stepped in). just take a look at their showrooms,

'Yan ang malaking pagkakamali nila! Kia vehicles aren't exactly selling like hot cakes are they? Last I checked Vios pa rin ang best seller. In my personal opinion, dealers of Kia Picanto can't afford to be arrogant. After all, what they are selling is a HUMBLE CAR. No-frills, no claim to luxury, just a practical low-cost car. Sana hwag lumaki ulo nila. This modest vehicle may yet redeem their image and earn for them healthy commission. Dapat alagaan nila ang kanilang clients.

PS. Have you seen the picture of a black picanto? I replied to a post by alex manalo before linking those pictures but I can't find that thread anymore.

medyo sumama loob ko doon sa signet boni, although di ko lang talaga sure kung ganun talaga kalakaran kapag bibili ka ng brand new (first time ko kasi bili ng brand new e)

hindi sa marami akong pera kaya cash, ganun kasi yung policy ng company namin sa pagbili ng kotse.

pero tiis na lang cguro muna ko, baka lalong tumagal kapag lumipat pa ko sa ibang shop. kung meron lang akong extrang pera, malamang vios or jazz na kinuha ko

ganyan talaga kapag bago yung kotse...

nung tumingin kami dati ng Escape (bagong labas pa lang), ganyan din ang hirit as amin... priority daw ang financing... e napaka taas naman ng add-on rate nila for financing!!!

hintayin nyo na lang mga bro mag subside yung initial buzz.

just got a call from my agent and i'm very happy na naging honest sya about my reservation. she told me na hindi na ko aabot for the november and even december na batch, masyado daw kasi mahaba yung pila ng financing and definitely yun ang uunahin nila kahit na sobrang aga ko nagpareserve for the 2nd batch.

ang tindi nga ng criteria nila sa pagpili e, ganito daw:

1) kung cno yung mag-avail ng pinakamababang down payment which is 20% - kapag pareho pa din;

2) next criteria, kung cno yung kukuha ng pinakamataas na insurance.

now i know kung bakit ayaw umangat ang Kia dito like Kia sa Europe, they're focusing too much sa profit, short term ang goal.
