Welcome. Just remember, dealers say excise tax takes effect Jan. 8. That car will cost P1.9 by then. Good luck.

The₱130k discount applies to in-house financing only, unfortunately. Cash discount is a measly ₱20k. And this applies to the 2WD only too.

Grabe rin pala itong si Columbia. 2018 models arrived on shores. Prices will increase by P30k. They are not releasing the new models till next year. They also do not order a lot of units except for the fast moving ones like the Picanto & Rio. Everytime magparating, nagiiba presyo. & if the dealer wants a unit, they have to buy it. Iba-iba talaga gimmick bawa’t car company

Sportage GT P1,795,000 VS Tucson GLS P1,598,000
Both have the almost same features, difference is the Sportage GT has tuned suspension & maybe the auto tailgate. But for the P200k difference, Tucson will be the better buy. You might even get a P100k discount or more.

Just got a message from an Agent. The 2018 Kia Sportage SL will cost P1,425,000 from P1,395,000 for the 2017 LX version. Plus the excise tax & VAT, good luck KIA.

Not that confirmed yet since there are mixed news about the acquisition, but it will definitely happen. He already sold BMW. It will probably be good for the dealers. CAMPI does not seem to give much incentive & support to their dealers.

Well, I confirmed with the dealership, CACC is indeed on the selling block but Phoenix negotiations did not push through. MVP also made an offer during the latter part of 2017. There are other interested parties & the Ayala Corp. is so far, the brightest among them.

^Oo, grabe yang Si Alvarez. Yung KIA dealerships ang liliit, wala talagang support at incentives. Talo sila sa Hyundai. Yung iba nga walang aircon.

Good thing I bought a Sportage unit last December. Though I didn’t get the car yet, I was price protected. The new units are going to be released by months end (hopefully).

Just to update this thread, my unit was finally released last Feb 1. The weird thing is this: there were 3 of us who made a reservation for a unit last December for the price of P1.395. 2 of us reserved the color of Mineral Silver, which is a metallic gray color. The SA then informed me January that the units arrived indeed & our color choice was not included in the shipment. The units that arrived came in Fiery Red & Patina Bronze colors (Burnished copper abroad). We had to choose between these 2 colors to avail of the price protection package. If not, we’d have to pay the 2018 price of P1.425 (without the excise tax) & unit will come late March. I opted to get the Brown one instead. Turned out OK, unique color.
The 2018 model is the SL & 2017 is the LX. The 2018 model is Euro 4,5 & 6. The specs are the same as the LX. The specs the SA of MVP Cubao emailed me was all bs.

Yikes! Though I like the color, you can actually sue the dealership if the quotation does not match what you got.

Colors are per availability but the specs and features promised should be delivered. Hope you kept a copy of the quotation.
