What are the pros and cons hehe
Can't decide between this and carens cause they are both have discounts right now with almost the same price

One advantage of Kia Carens is that it has CRDi engine...
All Sportage that are on huge discounts right now are the GAS variants...

With the discount, how much would the cheapest sportage AT be?

The 2.0L 4x2 EX Gasoline is 1,050,000 from 1,203,000...

i read somewhere that there is a 2014 sportage model coming out with some minor changes. I'm not sure if the Philippines will be getting this upgraded model this year. Have you guys heard of anything regarding this?

There are 2014 Sportage units out already sir. As far as I can remember, there are no DRLs, side mirror signal lamps, and some that I forgot. Additional feature is the rear aircon vent. Price was cut due to the features removed

Good day to all, just want to share my bad experienced with kia fairview...I just had my 25 k (sportage ) PMS this morning...when Im about to get the car, I notice a dent and about 1 foot scratch located at the left pasenger door. Right away I called the attention of the maintenance manager and expressed my disgust about what happened... he promised me to removed the dent ... bad trip!

P.S. They did not even clean the interior part of the car....wow...what a shamed...any similar experience anyone? heads up!

Sir, yung atleast 7kml na fc nyo po is heavy traffic sa manila? Like bumper to bumper?

And yung 8.5kml nyo po is cruise driving sa city?

Im considering po the sportage gas over ecosport...

by the way im from cebu so maybe tataas fc ng sportage given that hindi ganun ka traffic naman sa cebu...

I also need further inputs on this. My wife is also considering to get the Sportage 4x2 2.0 gas model. Is 7 km/L the lowest you get in city driving conditions? Does your route include normal traffic congested areas like EDSA or Makati CBD area? Thanks.

^ I believe this is the "normal average" range for city driving, but to say that it's the lowest is not a fair conclusion. I believe you know that FC also depends on a lot of external factors aside from the vehicle itself. (e.g. driving style, traffic on route taken, distance travelled, etc.)

Good pm, query naman, sportage diesel owner here, nagpa 10k pms ako kanina sa kia pasay, ng matapos ang Pms, ayaw na mag start yung sportage ko, ano possible na nangyari bakit ayaw mag start? Naiwan tuloy sya sa kia pasay, d alam ng mga technician ang sira and Kung bakit ayaw mag start, ano possible na dahilan Kung bakit kaya ayaw mag start?

Non-starting happened to me also 2 months after I bought my sportage. It happened at home and since still under warranty, I called Kia alabang, technicians came over to my house. Diagnosis was 2 burnt spark plugs. They temporarily changed them w/ used spark plugs. I drove to the casa and they replaced all 4 spark plugs with new ones for free.
