Chinek ko naman ung oil, light brown pa naman ung kulay tapos paghugot ng dipstick e tumulo agad.

    Thanks po!
We have a similar route. Traffic is usually bad though, so more stress on the engine. Checking the oil's visible viscosity is a good idea (what you're doing with the dipstick). I'd suggest you troop to the dealer after your next 2,600 kms if it takes this long again. More than a year na yan, kung ganon.

    Any other ideas, guys?

Guys, planning to get a sportage this month. What 3m tint would you recommend for mineral silver or sand track? BC20 sides and rear tapos BC35 full front? Pwede na ba un? Is BC the same as magic tint?

You can say that: 3M Black Chrome.

i asked the same question before, seems majority of the opinions prefer dark tint for mineral silver.

as reference, dockiks posted a pic of his mineral silver sporty on Solarguard several pages before. I posted mine in this thread http://tsikot.com/forums/window-trea...2/index86.html.

IHO, the main issue would be warranty claims. Just go talk to your suking casa. Its a good habit to let someone start/use the car at least once a week. Don't let your car sit idle for too long.

    PS.

I just changed my fog lamp 881 H27 bulbs to LED * Maspro. Mahal siya ah! Considering its pretty much useless and more to match the DRLs on night-time traffic.

I forgot to ask if they can check our tail lamps if they can add brake lights to the tail maps attached to our cargo door (the ones that doesn't light up at all). To KDM owners, does yours light up? And LED na ba tail lights sa KDM?

Hindi siya LED, yon third tail light lang ang LED.

May nakita ako sa web ng DIY post sa pag install ng bulb don sa cargo door brake lights.

I believe that was Daison77 who posted about his Solarguard tint on his mineral silver. I had the casa install 3M ST5 (super dark) on the sides and rear of my white Sportage, and BC35 full windshield. But I found the front tint too light, and significant heat was still coming in from the front when parked so I had it replaced with CS20 (medium) at Roadstar. Not having any difficulty at night, and heat reduction/reflection is better now.

Did you have to pay additional for the ST5?

Thanks Sir! The service advisor from Kia Metroeast asked me to check again the viscosity in August.

Malabo na yan overpriced lhat cars ngaun eh. Now that the demand has dwindled and walang cash flow sa ibang business coz kinuha na ng easy car loans ang lion's share ng sweldo ni * Juan

mag-correct na ang markets. I'm thinking the Cuvs will fall back sa sub 1M and the mid SUVs back to 1.2M price territory.

Hindi ko na talaga maintindihan why a lot of people doubled their cars these days, now that reality is setting in, para mo na din pinatay ang sarili no for five years paying those ridiculously packaged loans and pagkasyahin ang natira sa sweldo. but you have great new cars lol

parang laptop LNG yan, 3 years ago laptop 100k up, ngaun sa bente mil sobrang dami na choices.

    Si Daison77 yun sir

Pag sa presyo ng buy and sell tsaka trade in value alam ko ganyan talaga sir. Pag sa tao baka kayanin

Ewan lang ha, is it worth it to sell my current Sportage Theta II then buy a new clear white Sportage CRDi 2WD? Para diesel na tsaka natupad talaga yung gustong color. Haha!

The Theta II is fast, pero mahirap makipag-sabayan kasi medyo ma-konsumo sa gas. We also find it inconvenient for everyday use.

The SF is consuming 9.7L/100km everyday sa 60km trip (medium to heavy traffic). While the Sportage consumes 13.2L/100km everyday sa 25km trip (light traffic). Yung Focus TDCi hayop, everytime na gagamitin ko nasa 12km/L ang FC

i'm not very familiar w/ kia products so i'm, wondering if the powerplant on the '12 sportage crdi diesel is efficient and sturdy. maselan din ba 'to sa krudo kasi malamang madalas 'to mapupunta sa probinsya?

wala din ba issues iyong a/t variants nila?

i'm getting about 10L~/100km with heavy traffic. My max is 8L~/100km on city and I'm not even constantly being cautious of my driving style. i bet i can do better kung ECO mode. +1 ako sa performance w/o the guilt. lalo na pag naka-RC!

having said that, however, IMO, hindi ko majujustify losing 200K and spending approx. additional 200K to get the same car pero diesel. [disclaimer: kuripot ako ]. pero if its a daily car, there is value there, i guess. tsaka importante din un color!

other dealerships are getting diesel units already. siguro davao is still farther down the priority list?

the 20% depreciation rule was so 90's when the civics and the corollas were just in the 500K price range. so by logic, the best depreciation car for slightly brand new car is 100K less. (500K x 20%). kasi parang malaki ang 100k noon

nowadays if you buy a slightly brand new 700K car, the 20% rule will only yield 140K in savings. what 140K lang? tapos gamit na, no thanks. I think the best rule is by bracketing the price range

    for example

    300K to 500K+ - 20% rule
    500k to 800K+ - automatic minus P200K
    900K to 1.3M+ - automatic minus P400K
    1.4M+ to 1.6M+ - automatic minus P500K

this is true na nga when the existing 3rd gen CRV, and Captivas. while captiva still have even lower resale value.
the best meter is the 3rd Gen CRV. CRVs are always perceived with the highest resale value. so yun 4x2 M/Tnoon eh 1.2M. tama it sells in the P800K+ price range 2nd hand or minus P400K.

kaya lang with the advent of quick and easy loans, yan table ko above baka mahirapan na din, coz syempre mas ok pa din ang brand new even on installment. dati kasi mahirap mag-car loan but now it's readily available to the working class basta over 30K sweldo mo. akala kasi ng bangko nakaaisa sila sa quick and easy loans, ang ginagawa lang nila eh dine-depreciate lang lalo nila ang oto.

but of course, some buy and sell people will take advantage of the low resale value then add 100K pero sino lang market nila? mga taong walang credit line or sira ang credit line. and cash buyers which are slowly becoming a rarity nowadays coz common people are adopting the capitalism method na, wag labas ng buong pera.

if indeed buy and sell cars is still a lucrative business. walang increase ng buy and sell car lots sa ortigas eh. dati dami dito sa'min, sa harap ng meralco, sa depot, sa tabi ng adb ave. etc. yun sa ADB ave, wala na. yun mga stocks dyan sa tabi ng metrowalk so old. only shows that people are just keeping their cars or direct selling na to direct buyers. kasi may internet naman eh. the internet eliminates the middle man.

hinde kilala kita *SG, you wouldn't buy a sportage diesel. gusto mo ng sorento diesel na pinag-uusapan namin nila yebo sa comparison thread. why would you buy the same body and lose like P700K for it? 200K for depreciation and add 500K for the new sportage diesel. even if you a different color sportage, walang bago sa paningin mo, which gives satisfaction to your cravings.

hayan na, naghihinayang na sya. sorento diesel black. imagine my garage in a Santa FE and a sorento diesel. perfect hehe

your new focus won't help sa predicament mo, kasi kahit matipid, sedan hatch lang yan, di mataas, di SUV awww

OB, I don't need your pointless posts but thanks. Haha that won't help eh.

I miss having a small car that's why I got a Focus TDCi instead of a new Ford Ranger. The excitement of driving a fast hatchback with good handling. ;)

Tsaka hindi ako kukuha nung bare Sorento. Yung 2.1M CRDi deluxe pwede. Kaso may Santa Fe na eh.

Kaya wag mo ako inggitin kasi hindi ako maiinggit sayo
