Hello! Anyone here who tried Helium air on tires? Does it improve cars performance? Thanks!

You probably mean nitrogen? Some tire centers (like Minerva) recommend inflating your tires with nitrogen (P45 yata each). Theoretically, it is less corrosive to rubber than oxygen found in compressed air. But wear and tear to the tire and tread will lead to tire replacemant waaay before oxygen damge from inside out ruins s tire. A more practical reason to use nitrogen is that it leaks more slowly fron tires, resulting in less under-inflation of tires, and better fuel economy. But if you make it the habit of checking tire pressure weekly, this advantage is quickly negated.

So if you want to use nitrogen, no problem. But if you don't, not a big deal at all, esp if you check tire pressure regularly. HTH

Exactly! I usually have my tires air checked when i gas up, which is about twice a month. That works for me coz i don't drive too far. But if u can check more often, so much the better.

Go with Nitrogen nalang and more than a few have already said that it improved their ride [a bit]. As for me, I have it in my Sportage as well but I like it kasi I don't have to refill as often as I usually do with normal air.

I guess I can see why you'd want Helium to inflate your tires and perhaps it would be a good option too but not yet. Not until we have super air-tight seals in our tires. You see Helium atoms are so small that as soon as you fill up your tires with it, you'll have to recharge after a few days lang of use [or in fact even if your car's just sitting still].

    Traveled 400kms without brake dust

Sa Fronte ko binili, 2,500 lang. Pero sayang kung bibili kayo kahit makapal pa yung original brake pads. Masasanay din naman kayo sa tunog eh.

They say nitrogen is cooler (temperature) than air so it expands less pag mainit and in high speeds.

Ok for most of you guys THANK YOU :2thumbsup: for clarifying and for the inputs... its nitro (atomic no. 7) not helium (atomic no. 2)...they are but both air to me :obvious: (and both are coolants)...if it were a chanel or a louis vuitton then i could differentiate... :girlpower:

And WALTER...im not inhaling helium...have you? :charing:

Just confirmed: 881 H27 12V 27W ang FL bulbs ng Sportage SL. Compared to the 880, the 881 is angled like this:

This is evident sa OEM FL package natin: eBay.

Just cancelled my 880 xenon super whites order kay SNY. Saan kaya meron ganitong bulbs na super white?

Mga Sirs! Kakatawag ko lang po sa Kia Metroeast. Nanghingi ako ng advice for PMS.

Any advice sirs? Ang estimated cost lang daw is 1,400 pesos. How much po nagastos ninyo sa first PMS niyo at kelan ba talaga dapat mag pa PMS? First 7,500kms or 4 months whichever comes earlier? or dpat sundin ung 7,500kms?

Thanks a lot po in advance!

You can abide by the 7,500 kms interval. How were the 2,600 kms accumulated? Daily drive in heavy traffic? Or less frequent (like 3x a week) but longer drives? I'm not really comfortable with having more than 5,000 kms in between oil changes, but hey, I might just be old school. Your Sporty is new technology, and I suppose Kia's taken users like you (low mileage) into consideration.
