yep, same as other manufacturers i guess. according to my SA, cebu raw un marami nakuha for some reason i no longer remember

when i inquired at kia cebu sabi nila wala pa daw definite date of release kesyo ganito ganyan. pinapaubos daw gas units. i also noticed na ang laki ng patong nila. 4x2 gas nila umabot 1.3m more or less with insurance, lto, shipping. dito sa davao 1.225m lang. tsk3!

Hi mga sir tagal ko na po hinihintay ung Sportage 4x2 diesel kasi bibilhan ako ng parents ko.. san pa po ba meron? nagpareserve na kami sa kia d ko lang sure saan. ang tagal, onga pala may nakita akong Kia sportage sa Eastwood last time iba ung emblem? hmm isa yata sainyo dito ung may ari hahaha :D and btw ung Diesel ba na 1.290m push start button na?

the 1.290m does not have the start button, it has the same accessories and features as the 1.15m gas variant. call my SA, i've posted his number a while back.

each dealership has their individual supply allocation. before kia quirino, i had a reservation sa kia fairview since nov 2011 even now, they still do not have a diesel sportage unit. they do have that 1.3m sorento variant though.

Wait mo yon local na diesel Limited variant, may be around 1.6M to 1.7M. For now, KDM unit at local gas Limited lang may push start button.

Mukhang honest naman yung SA nung sinabi niyang wala pa talaga silang official release. Pero kitang kita naman dito sa thread na may naka-Sportage diesel na. Labo ng CAC ah.

May mga dealer siguro na pinatikim na agad ng diesel.

Pag marami pa kasi stock ng Theta II mahirap na bigyan agad ng diesel, baka matambak lang yung Theta II.

Actually napapansin ko sa CAC mahina parin marketing strategy nila.

malabo nga. maybe wala pa talaga official release at konti lang units na dumating. maybe kia cebu got most of the units kasi dealer of the year sila. oh well. wala naman stock dito sa davao. 1 unit 4x2 gas lang nasa showroom. btw, ano po specs ng 1.330m sorento? thanks!

Me Sportage Diesel na unit (1 left) sa Kia sa Tiendesitas. Kagagaling ko lang kahapon at inalok nga dahil umatras daw yung nagpa reserve. 10 units lang daw pinarating nila at puro White pa. Worth the check

Hi guys,

Long time lurker but first time poster here in Tsikot, but lately specifically reading up on Sportage Gen3 thread to hear the latest on the diesel variant.

I'm really waiting for the CRDI sportage to be available, but suddenly a low mileage, great condition KDM crdi sportage becomes available in the market priced just a little above P1,290,000 casa price + Mortage + loan interest .

Most likely this sportage came from Autoaccess, and most likely the 1 year warranty will have run out already.

Here are some questions and concerns which I hope you guys can give your input:

1. Do you think the dirty diesel here will greatly affect the engine/fuel components, as the KDM units have not been subjected to EURO2 fuel conversions?

2. If ever, after the Autoaccess 1 year warranty. Will our local Kia casas be able to maintain the KDM unit, with the KDM unit having much more electrical bells and whistles?

3. If ever not, for KDM sportage owners, where do you plan to service your sportages?

Thanks for reading and I hope to hear some inputs from the gurus!

By the way, to those interested. my agent called to up to say that there is also a white sportage diesel available in Kia Greenhills. Seems the news is true most of the CRDI units arriving are white.

Correct me if I am wrong, but based on my agent the CRDI unit has the exact same specs with the 4x2 gas unit, difference of engine and price only.
