Matagal pa rin kung tutuusin, pero di na ako inaabot pa ng isang oras...mga 10 min na lang at most ..Pero dinagdagan ko ang takbong mabilis sa expressway from Manila to Clark at pabalik para sunugin ang mga carbon deposits doon sa EGR. Ngayon 106,000 km na ang odometer ko at di pa ako nakakaranas ng plugged up na EGR.

    Sa Kia Pasig (Amang Rodriguez Ave, dating Ligaya St) ginawa ito. P2,500 ang cost at walang parte na pinalitan. Panay labor lang ito kasi mabusisi at maraming kakalasin at labor intensive kasi ibababad pa nila para lumambot yung carbon deposit doon. One and 1/2 days inabot, pero worth it naman dahil parang brand new ulit ang takbo.

    Thank you sa inside information Mr. Wiper, subukan kong sabihin sa mechanic na tignan ang "injector washers" at palitan kung kinakailangan. Magkano inabot ito sa Kia Pasay?

    the washer cost 127.25 each total of 509, labor for replace and install injector is 3250, replace and install intercooler is 1,000.00 for a total of 4,759

    Hello fellow Carens owners... Mukhang naglqlabasan na problema.ng rides natin... Ako naman last Apr2011 pa-akyat Baguio parang same experience din ni DieselNUBI...Talaga avoid.na.lang natin idling as much as.possible...proven na salot(soot maker) kasi yan....

    So Ser DieselNUBI naayos na kotse mo?

    Lahat naman na diesel engine ay di dapat naka idle for extended time, kaso problema dito sa metro manila ay traffic congestion kaya di maiwasan talaga. Ang talagang dapat ay good maintenance ng engine, kaya sa mga turbo charged diesel engine lagi linisin ang exhaust system kasama dyan ang egr at turbo charger.. hataw paminsan minsan sa highway para ma itulak ang soots out to exhaust pipe.. mali ang lagi na lang puko puko ang andar ng makina..HTH

    kaya madami na 'kong Accent CRDi taxi drivers na kausap....mga once or twice per year ang EGR/Turbo cleaning nila....
    banda Tagig daw, empleyado na ata ng taxi company...kaya mura lang service fee. hahanapin ko nga 'yun one of these days....

    hi fellow carens owners, meron na ba nakapag change ng timing belt sa inyo.. what is the ideal milage for philippine climate. 80K ba is too soon or tama lang.. i'm planning to have it on my 80K sabay na rin ng serpentine belt, egr cleaning. Sa Kia alabang ba safe magpa gawa duon.. thanks in advance.

    ser ilang taon na Carens nyo? i guess your best bet is to follow the Owners Manual. from what i recall though ang nasa Euro cycle ay around 160Tkm.... interval...kung Phil. condition siguro 100-120T km.... baka si ser Joshua_Ching pa lang ata nakakapag-palit ng T.Belt...

    no experience din po abt. Kia Alabang, pero mukhang ok naman sila..i visited them one time to inquire about EGR cleaning...i just didn't go thru with it...

    going 5 years na this June. alabang said it should be 80K in Phil climate coz its humid and dusty. i might go with 90K.. thanks.
