APEXi turbo timers have a function where you could shut off the engine without engaging the turbo timer. It has a sensor connected to the handbrake kasi. If you turn off the engine with the handbrake engaged, the turbo timer engages. But if you turn it off without the handbrake, the engine turns off agad.

kasama ba sa cooldown time yung city drive right after hitting 80 kph and above? say, 80 kph sa slex, tapos exit bicutan tapos max speed is around 40 kph lang and you dont hit 2.5k rpm naman?

or dapat naka idle talaga lang yung engine?

gjtech, as long as tumatakbo ka, hindi kasama sa cooldown iyon. Dapat idling lang, preferably no A/C, lights, etc.

The turbo in the trooper takes effect at around 2500rpm based on my experience with it. Try observing the vehicle when you run it near 2500rpm. You will feel the vehicle surge forward. At standstill rev the engine..observe the tach needle when it passes the 2500rpm mark...it will swing faster.
