Should I sell my Trooper 2002 - Please Help!

hi. saan po ba pwde papaayo ng aircon sa 2003 isuzy trooper skyroof local edition? ung magaling at hindi mahal? kasi sa casa ang mahal.

yup po. pero ung probleman.. ung technician. hindi ko alam kung anong sira. mainit talaga ung aircon ng trooper ko.. wlang lamig lumabas. hindi kaya sa init ngayon.

Huh? You mean the technicians of both aircon shops cannot determine the problem of your aircon? That's odd.....

Well, yes, the weather has been very cruel to our cars' cooling and aircon system BUT di dapat "mainit" as you describe it. My trooper isn't even stuck in traffic high noon. It may not be as cold but surely di mainit.

I suspect either may leak aircon lines mo, kulang sa freon or madumi condenser or needs cleaning/replacement ang expansion valve, evaporator or dryer.

yeah.. sabi po nya ung condenser fan ang sira kasi hindi umiikot.. pero sabi ng kakilala. impossible naman ung condenser fan ung dahilan

mainit talaga po kahit number 4 na ung buga ng aircon..

ung freon lang po.. kasi dalwang beses ko check ung freon by gauge sa shop.. same lang.. walang problema. dryer pinalitan ng bago....evaporator - they clean it.. the front and the back..

napansin ko kakaiba yung aircon ng Trooper, walang cabin filter.

yung sa akin naman lumalamig pa..... sa gabi

ano kaya kailangan nya? new freon?

regarding the engine: Denso yata ang injectors natin, same as Nissan Patrol na naging defective din. Hyundai uses Bosch at walang pumapalya. Pwede kaya sa atin ang Bosch injectors?

May ilaw na red "check engine" sa dashboard. 2 weeks bago ako nakakuha ng gagawa talaga. Sa banawe ko nakuha ung gumawa. Sa kanila na rin galing ung mga parts. Sabi nila Japan surplus ung mga parts na tinangal nila sa mga ginagawa nilang makina.

The Trooper is a really good vehicle. It accelerates quickly, gives decent gas mileage and is really comfortable. Our 2002 (bought 2nd hand in 2003) model has not had any major problems besides changing the turbo (had a surplus replacement for just 25k) and the injectors replaced (free of charge) although admittedly ours has only run for 66k kilometers. The only gripes I have with it is cleaning the beige interior which takes quite a lot of effort and the headlights which give substandard visibility. It really is a shame if it is sold especially if sold cheap.

ajgeronimo: alam mo the same thing happened sa dati kong trooper... yang yang din ang pinalitan. although parang pareho din ang nagastos ko sa casa... mga 13 din eh... anyway, at least naayos... maganda ang Trooper pare.. having owned one for 8 years.. alagaan mo lang sa maintenance... pag-maynaramdaman ka ng konti na medyo odd sa makina... patingnan mo agad...

Medyo nakakalungkot talaga GTI... imagine I had to sell mine at 350k... altho i think it was practical decision considering the amount that I have to spend to have it repaired pa without an assurance that is will break down again... naka 170 thousand kms na naman pero tingin ko tatagal pa if I had known what its weakness are much earlier...

the injectors are the ones that you really have to keep an eye on... they'll inevitably break (the o-rings lang not the entire injectors) so it's advisable to have them checked or even replaced regularly... (nothing can prevent the o-rings from getting damaged...) if yours have 66thousand kms, it's time to have it checked or replaced.... mura lang yon 5k maybe for the entire set of o-rings

I AGREE THE TROOPER IS A EXCELLENT VEHICLE... we just need to aware of its maintenance needs...
