September 24th, 2018 04:58 PM #321It’s just my own newbie opinion. It’s almost two months old.
So I opened the hood started it and let it idle for a couple of minutes. I opened my windows and stepped on the gas pedal. Now I hear the turbo spool sound but somehow suppressed. Naririnig ko siya around 2.5k-3k rpm. I didn’t pushed it beyond 3k.
If I’m not the only one experiencing this then this is normal I guess.

September 25th, 2018 12:12 PM #329That’s what I thought as well. Like StockEngine has mentioned above, Thais didn’t like the sound in terms of decibels I guess.
I also notice that the engine response is “livelier” if I do the ff from cold start:
1. Idle engine for 2min or until the engine temp reaches one bar.
2. Rev the engine twice or thrice up to 2k-2.5k rpm.
I know you’ll get the same response after a few kilometers of driving but doing so it felt it has better response right after leaving the garage.
This probably warmed up the turbo?
