Of course! As of 1999-2000 I think GL3 protection lang available, ie regular engine motor Oil. Lumabas na XTRM model when GL4 gear oil came out kaya di cguro narecommend . Better protection with GL4 as additive coats metal surfaces to lessen metal-to-metal wear. Additive coating protects metal during contact.
Warning lang sa GL-5
I thought shift boot continuously goes all the way to tranny top, my bad. 2 separate pieces pala, hole cover with big round block sitting on tranny and tranny shifter cover
Yes napapalitan yun. Big job yun. Then there the need for oil balancing na kahit sa Denso e di alam kun paano. They leave it to the machine to do its thing w/c may not be right. Then there's the flushing na OEM don't advice coz of residual mat and technician laziness. Then there's PAO, POE, PAG oils that tech think are the same and can be mixed.
Hay buhay. Suma total ask shop how they evacuate, flush, vacuum and fill with freon. Right freon fill give 1C temp with low side at 28 PSI, 280-300 PSI high side at 85F ambient temp all at constant engine speed of 1500 RPM. Static should be at ambient temp equal in PSI as read on manifold gauges, both low side and high.
Too much info ba...hehehehe
Gambit bro,
nirecommend nang mech ko fill thru shifter hole only beacause we don't have the gun to fill it thru plug hole, no special reason...hehehe. But damn too much work in taking out console and boot and shifter quadrant and replacing them
Diff oil I think should be thicker at 140 grade GL4 as differential carries much of the load in power transmission, 30% more than that of tranny though don't know what manual recommends
Good day fellow hilander owners! Mine is a '99 Isuzu SL Hilander.. Medyo malakas po kasi ang kabig pa-kanan, pinasilip ko na po to recently and they suggested to replace the centerlink.. And pag todo kabig coming from a reverse, biglang may lalagitik galing sa gulong..
good day, sirs: i'm planning to replace the nozzle tips of my 97 hilander... may nakapagpalit na ba sa inyo ng nozzle tips... how much po ang isa and how much din po aabutin ang labor? TIA!!
Hope this helps.![]()
