palitan mo lang ng o-ring yan, 10 petot lang, solve na. pag hose naman, dalhin mo sa mga nagrepair ng hydraulic hose,180 petot lang.

you are right, o-ring nga, dinala ko sa hydraulic shop, pinalitan 2 orings, size1/2" and 3/8". cost me 100 for the whole job. thanks for your info:

Thanks for enlightening this matter, I was wondering how to put the motor oil in the transmission since gas stations only put gear oil through their hand pump. Ayoko kalasin yung stick shift... hehehe

Thru the stick shift is recommended by my mechanic, an ex-Nissan mech. Haven't asked yet why. Hand pump is needed if filled thru fill hole at tranny side. I'm having mine filled at shift kasi kinalas ko console to fix torn tranny boot, the one that goes all the way to the top of tranny. BTW d ako makahanap boot na to kc Jayson's only has one that covers floor hole.

erratum: "...And numbering sa gear oil ie 80, 90 does not relate to thicker viscosity"- meant this vis-a-vis Engine Oil numbering ie 90 gear oil is not somewhere twice as thick as SAE 40 or 50. Numbering indeed relates to oil viscousity

Yung sakin yung hole lang talaga cover ng shift boot, and I'm fairly sure its the original...

So to clarify, ok lang yung gear oil na 90 na gamit ko?

Are you referring to the one in the Black container? Ito gamit ko ngayon sir, ok naman siya, nothing extra ordinary. Might try Castrol ni blue gambit next time around, mukhang maganda effect sa kanya

[SIZE=3]consult ko lang steering problem ng '97 hilander ko... first, may squeaking sound sa may steering wheel pag todo turn (left & right) and dragging sound na parang sa tires ang source ... and second, yun steering shafting moves upward and downs (vertical movement) :jump:when you pull it up and push it down - - konting konti lang naman... ano kaya problema ng steering ko? need your inputs in this regard ... Good Day... bago lang ako dito. Just bought my Highlander 2000 SLX ride last September. May problem ako when shifting to 2nd Gear may tunog siya. Any ideas? and also when going back to 1st gear ayaw pumasok unless stop ko then change to 1st gear. Thanks

may napansin ako sa hi lander namin masyado maingay ganun din ba sa inio? what i mean na ingay is yung tunog di katulad ng mga crosswind matining at mapino umandar. para tuloy minsan tunog truck elf na isuzu pag umaandar.

sir 4 studs lang po yan empty holes lang yung iba design lang po sa mags nya un hehe maamos nga sa pic kasi lagi umuulan sayang ang pa car wash.

aahhh, akala ko pina convert na sa 6-stud na hub na parang crosswind. medyo alanganin ako kasi sa 4-stud hubs ng hilander natin, parang di tatagal lalo na kung rough road palagi dinadaanan. ang liliit pa mga bearings.
