For my last pic, I just wanna share the mileage of my truck after exactly 51 days.

I guess that's it! That's my 08 Dmax LS!

Actually sir, red wasn't really our first choice. We just happened to see this red Dmax in Trinoma last father's day and we fell in love with it. We chose the red coz it looks so different. Our agent told me that a day before we got our unit, a Chinese guy went into the Isuzu Q. Ave (IQA) showroom, saw our unit and he wanted to buy it right there but our agent told him that it's already paid. I don't know what's with red, but I went to 2 dealers and they didn't have it. One dealer even said that I would have to wait for a month coz they will wait for their delivery from Thailand!?!?!? What!?! All they have are black, grey and white. When we tried in IQA, they didn't have it too but our agent was thinking so fast that he ordered it immediately though we were just asking for quote at that time. Well, after 51 days, everytime I look at it, I still fall in love it. But I am starting to see lots of red Dmax on the road too. Before I only saw 1 red in month, but yesterday, I already saw 3 in different locations.

ANo kaya ipapalagay go Spray On Bed Liner or Plastic? Kung plastic bedliner malalagyan ko pa rin ba ng Roller up na tulad ng sayo?

Saka nga pala nagpunta ako kanina sa Hella Phils. Cavite Factory and office, lapit lang kc sa house ko 1KM lang distance..... nagtanong ako kung meron foglamps.....sabi ng nakausap ko sa sales department..next month pa daw. Alam nyo..sasabihin ko na nga ...napamura ng lamps dito sa Hella Cavite...dito kc nanggagaling yun lahat ng for export sa Australia... yun sa ibang countries di ko lang alam, di ko pa natanong, dito kc dati nagtrabaho sister ko dati. Bata pa ko Hella na to. Dito eh 1/3 lang ang prize kapag retail kumpara sa Banawe or sa kahit na anong auto supply. Mas mura cyempre pag marami at kung kayo pick up! Kung gusto nyo magnegosyo sa lugar nyo lalo na yun nasa mga probinsya...direct na kayo dito!

Im looking for a stock pillar of d-max 05 body. Baka meron sainyo may extra or what or willing to trade your stock pillar for my pillar with tweeter area. By the way kung trade, usap nalang tayo. Mabilis naman ako kausap. Preferably, Manila area pala para iwas shipment na. Here is the pic of my pillar:

That's what I love about the Dmax - it has all the accessories that I need when I bought it. There is no need to buy bigger tires or buy fender flares just to make it look like a 4x4. In all our cars, modifying them is really not my thing.

For your question, regardless if you put spray on bedliner or plastic/drop in bedliner, it doesn't matter, you could still put a roller top/lid on it. But the bedliner should be the very first thing that they should put. You would have to leave your car to them for a day if you opted for the spray on. I managed to find the quotations that the agent in Carryboy gave me before. Please see below:[/SIZE]

If you want discount, you should go there and haggle with them, just what I did since if you talk to them via phone, the agent will just tell you these prices or it's still subject to the manager's approval.

For the stepboard, if I am not mistaken, they only have the 507 and 541.

As for drop in or spray on bedliner, I have tried the durability of a spray on so I went for that. What I didn't like about the drop in was someone told me that time will come that the water might sip, due to the shaking of the bed, into it that would cause rust in the bed. I don't have any idea if that's true or not since I haven't tried a drop in. If your pocket is deep, you could put both drop in and spray on if you want.

If you decided for the spray on, you could also try SAVI in Timog. That is where I brought my other truck before. I also got a quote from Ride Inc. and theirs is Speedliner and it cost 12k.

Now for the roller up. The roller lid was really out of the picture since this product is new and it's not yet really tried and tested by many and I don't wanna become a guinea pig. Unfortunately, the roller up wasn't available at that time and no one has an idea when will they have a stock. In my other truck, it has a Pace Edwards roller up but I wanna try another brand. Since they don't have that, I just went for the roller lid and it cost around 37k. I am starting to like it now and it really makes my car looks futuristic and it's very convenient that you don't have to manually push and pull it especially on rainy days. Hopefully when you go to Carryboy, they already have the roller up. There are other shops that offer roller up if you don't want the roller lid. Like what I said the Pace Edwards (Ride Inc.- Just in front of Carryboy), Goldcars and Goldrich. Call them first to get a quote. Ride Inc. gave me a roller top quote of 30k. I am not sure if that's the Pace Edwards, though.

If you're looking for water tight products, sad to say that the Pace Edwards and Carryboy roller lid are not for you. As I've said, the bed still gets wet especially during heavy rains.

Guys, naiinip na ko....Gaano ba katagal or how many days bago makuha or maiuwi yun unti??? Naiinip na ako.....nagdududa.... baka kc alam nyo na....di ba yun nangyari sa NISSAN...ek ek ek.....

Tuesday or Wednesday (Sept. 16) yata nagsara yun usapan tapos bukas ko pa makukuha (Monday/Sept. 22). Ayoko makakuha ng defective unit na niretoko..pag di nila narelease bukas...ewan ko lang...refund ko na lang yun pera ko kuha ko sa iba....seriously!!!!!!!!!

Just to add...

For the chrome taillight light cover, I also got it from Carryboy and it cost more than 3k. - I would like to correct myself for future reference for our reader's as I was thinking of the side mirror signal light for this price. I was back reading and I was surprised to see this. Its price is less than 2k. They said that it's OEM and it has a warranty in case the chrome fades.


*st_omach: I don't exactly remember the code of my stepboard but as far as I know, the one that cost 7k is the one. As I have said prior, when I went there, there were only 2 available stepboards for the Dmax and I chose the more expensive one.

For your concern on the acquisition of your unit, did you see in their showroom that they have a white LX? If you didn't, most likely they will order it first. Just like in my case wherein they didn't have red but my agent was thinking so fast that he ordered it beforehand though we were only asking for a quote since he felt that we would seal the deal with him. I also said that the other dealer where I went told me that I would wait for like a month since they have to wait for their delivery from Thailand. You should have asked them if they have that specific color and model and unit and how long would it take before you could bring it home. Another scenario is you said that your other freebie is undercoat. That could also add another day since the car will be pulled out from the showroom for undercoating and will be brought back the next day.

For a defective or lemon unit, it's hit or miss. No one could actually predict if the unit that he/she got is a lemon or not. Just cross your fingers and pray to God that the unit that you'll get is not lemon. For a reconditioned one, that model is still new and I doubt that their is already a reconditioned unit for that. Getting a test drive unit would be more possible.

Just bug your agent everyday, that's the only thing you could do. Before you get your unit, check everything thoroughly especially for scratches, the odometer readings, the lights, let them start the engine, as in everything before you bring it home.

Added to your pain is your excitement so another added day is like a brick hitting you since you couldn't release your excitement and mixed emotions knowing that you'll soon drive a very beautiful truck.hehe (please correct me if I am wrong.hehe)

Guys, I just wanna share. I was surfing the net and I landed in http://www.auto-searchphilippines.co...PriceList.html

You'll see there the 08 Dmax SE LS. It says that there is already a back up sensor, 2-DIN 7" wide touchscreen HU with 2 tweeters and the wheel looks different. For the colors, they changed the names. The price difference is only 25k from the LS only.

This is good news for future Dmax owners/buyers especially for the LS variant.

Sir the price is about 24thou PHP for 16X8 and this would fit to dmax,but that is UK price + shipping to bring it there.They got also 18,20 and 22,its BK racing brand.
