    Hi guys,

I'm glad to hear that you are happy with your D Max.

It is a good pick-up. But just like all diesels, the injection pump may fail over time. As we have seen, the pump will fail prematurely if your diesel fuel is contaminated with water. Pump repair is quite expensive.

Make sure to drain your fuel-water separator of your "WIF" water in fuel indicator lights up.

We have service capability for the DMax's first generation VP44 pumps, as well as the new style common rail pumps.

    Bye,

    Dieseldude

    Hi Folks,

I'm currently looking at a few 04 and 05 units - care to share any pointers such as what to watch out for, common service issues, etc? the units i've seen so far have around 32 - 35T KM.

Also, would i be able to find aftermarket parts outside of the usual Casas?

    Thanks!

kung sa aftermarket lang marami for the dmax outside the casa, in fact mas marami pa sa mga accessory stores. kung OEM parts siguro mahirap pa ng konti.

grew up in daet. took me 6 hrs from binan laguna. with one stop in lucena to eat and pee. trick is to leave early to avoid the god damn tricycles and used ur loud horn to scare them. cheapest diesel in calamba at 37.2. have the 2007 model. have owned lexus, volvo, bmw, porsche etc but dmax is the most practical all around vehicle. esp. in province. went all the way to dongsol and back to naga on one full tank cost 2200 pesos for v a distance of 900 km. and naga to daet cost me 500 pesos. matipid talaga. at mabilis. you dont need a 4x4. waste of money.
