Para sa 'kin talaga, may "K" lang silang tawaging Global yung D-Max dito when it has exactly the same specs as the Thai D-Max.

DMAX i believe is the true measure of wat pickups should be like. Most balanced pickup that can satisfy wat d general public needs. An engine dat delivers and proven to be one of the world's best plus the overall toughness that Isuzu vehicles are known for dats why they kol it "Global", but den again, I agree w/ Isketi, introduce the 4JJ1-TCX (3.0L crdi+vgs) 1 way to prove its "Global Dominance and Power".

I miss my unit esp ngayon nagtaas na uli ang diesel. Having owned other diesel cars I can really say super tipid talaga ang dmax engine.

Tuning chip technology has been around for quite awhile already. If I remember correctly around 10 years(?) ago, some Chevrolet variants had aftermarket tune chips available as no hassle, plug-in type upgrades that had zero negative effects on the engine. In the diesel category, I believe it was the Iveco truck company that had chip upgrades for their turbo diesel engines which was featured in their around the world trek some years back.

If I had the spare cash (and the wife's approval hehe) I'd get a chip upgrade for mine. I guess the only negative I foresee with this upgrade are smoked tires

Yup Memphs, but the performance pack that the Isuzu Uk are offering on their top of the line Dmaxs are not aftermarket upgrades but as one of their variants - meaning its company installed.

I'm now even wondering if this is what toyota did to their D4Ds. With their 3.0L producing 160 plus HP compared to Isuzu producing only 146HP with the same displacement.

engr dmax new ka lang dito sa forum noh? ang ganda ng dmax mo. Pakita naman pics na mas malaki. Sana lahat ng angles. White rin kasi dmax ko pero panget pa kaya kailangan makakita ng maganda.

A-toy bodykits ko binili yan sa west ave, quezon city..
Balak ko pa lang ilowered ng 2" kalsuhan lang sa likod at adjustment ng torsion sa harapan. ewan ku kung tama itong gagawin ko
may nakita ako dito sa cebu na naka lowered last april, pati si jarhead nakita nya yun kaya lang matagal ko na hinahanap dito sa cebu di ko na nakita, tignan ko sana kung paano ginawa nya..may mahusay dito maglowered sa Ric's...

just went to isuzu yesterday to look for a new pick-up for my bro. we asked if there was a posibility they would be a release of the new engine kso wala pa daw update from the plant.

we compared it to the interior of the strada, personally we preffered the quality of the plastics of the d-max. Just dont know why some think the interior of the strada's better. but I feel the 07 d-max's interior and build is more tighter and solid.

also 07 d-max seems taller/higher than the 05 and 06 models. SA cant give us answers why this is so, but we like the 07. think we're gonna wait for new engine though..

even the second row is quite spacious, just hope they bring it out the new engine soon.
me napansin lang ako when we asked for a look at a 4x4 d-max or altera and there no units available. I guess its true that the d-max out sold the competition...
