    Tanong lang po ulit mga sirs, ano po ang difference ng CRDi engines sa mga conventional engines? Sabi kasi sa akin ng mga mekaniko, mahirap daw and mahal pag may nasira sa CRDi engines and marami po ako naririnig na problema daw ang fuel injection ng mga CDRi engines, totoo po ba ito? Thank you.

    pag AT medyo malakas ang consumption, i think MT dmax nasa 11-12km/l city, and 14-15km/l hi-way. btw meron na bang DMAX in 2003? kala ko 2004 na lahat ng dmax lumabas.

    no not at all, adjustments lang yon, hayaan mo pag uwi ko ng pinas next mo. ipapakunsulta ko sa mekaninko na kakilala ko about don. then i will let you know everything kung magagawa man. i think pag yon ginawa sa dmax, 200kph shoot im sure.

    palagay ko mounting ng manual boost controller at pressure adjusting ng bosch-VP fuel pump ba ang gagawin ?...

    srbogoy not sure kung yon nga ang gagawin, oo ba sure post ko dito, i think kayang kaya ng mekaniko ko kasi dual yon e, electrical and mechanical yon e. be back here soon!

    I think the best features of CRDi or Common Rail engines is that they are quieter, more fuel efficient and offers smoother acceleration than the conventional Direct Injection diesel powerplants.

    Your mechanic(s) will have to be more specific as to where the "problem" is because it can be anything from the high pressure fuel pump or the ECU that governs the injector valves or the precision nozzles all the way to the actuators. Isuzu common rail systems barely have problems so maybe they are referring to the other makes or brands and are just generalizing that all crdi engines have the same problems.
