I'm getting larger ones too. Dunlop Grandtrek AT3s, 265/70 R16 which means it will slightly lift the truck since it's a larger diameter tire.

My current stock tires gained a bit more contact patch when I changed my rims with size 8.5" width. My purpose in changing is because I wanted to have a wider patch and maintain the profile but the downside is that at 8.5, the outer tire wall goes beyond the fender so I get 5X more dirt on the sides during rainy days .

You can widen your tires without the said hassle by sticking with your original rims like what xxadonisxx did here: http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showt...=9940&page=182

Test drove a Dmax 4wd bondoc edition this morning sa tracks which was very muddy. Believe ako sa kakayahan ng dmax sa putik. there were some knee deep mud in some parts of the tracks and the dmax handled it with ease.

here is a side shot of my dmax, i forgot to mention that i attached a hanger on the rear "muelye" to lift the body and i adjusted the torsion bar to lift the front face, because not doing so resulted in a not-balanced look... but now after adjusting those things the look is balanced and nice. That increase in height level may also have affected my speed in running. Well, i think a slight decrease in speed would be just fine, of course what i am after most is the comfort and the looks I am happy because even without spending too much on an expensive Mag Wheels i am still able to improve my car's height and sturdy look
    hi xxadonisxx,
can you also send a picture of the hanger on the rear "muelye" and what do you mean by: "adjusted the torsion bar to lift the front face".

Sorry, it looks like I'm asking you an "upgrade kit/procedures for increasing dmax height at a minimum cost"
