Navara is a good pickup if not for the crappy brown dash and plasticky interior- Nissan says its for ease of cleaning...which makes sense.
Nanalo ito over the rest of the pick-ups in its class in almost all reviews.
The thing is, there are not so many Navaras around so parts might not be abundant and cheap compared to the Dmax, Strada, or Hilux.
If I am to buy a pick-up again, I'd choose the Dmax or the Strada.

angel007 - hi bai! kaw pala yan
PM me the price of your Civic. Hanep sa engine ah, SiR na di ba? Good to hear that you like the Dmax. If you will notice in this thread, mostly we talk about just the regular PMS check and lately, extreme upgrades but almost no discussion about problems on the Dmax of any year model :victory:
I have driven the 6 speed LT(?) model Navarra several times na and it's a good pick-up too but I keep noticing the narrow power band it has, seems like it wants the driver to shift up quickly through the gears. But very good power nevertheless.
Also compared to the Dmax, the rear cab has surprisingly shorter legroom although it does appear to have tons of space from the outside given the robust looking body. Sales wise, have you been to the Nissan Showroom in Sibulan? If my memory serves me right, the blue Navarra in their showroom has been there for quite a while na while I was expecting them to be swamped by buyers from our pick-up crazy town.
Djerms - good to hear from you again hereLast edited by Memphis Raines; February 26th, 2008 at 11:58 AM.

Here's the detailed report:
http://www.euroncap.com/Content-Web-...n-new-cat.aspx
Its quite a revelation. Pickups are not really designed for passenger use but for commercial/cargo use. You can just imagine how the Hilux will score as it doesn't even have a passenger airbag and an EBD.Navarra only scored one star while Dmax scored a two...but according to the report almost a three. Surprisingly, Mitsubishi L200 scored an acceptable four--I just wonder if this is the new Strada the report is referring to
Are they on track to surpass last year's sales?
