Parang ako pa lang yata naputulan ng hood cable dito. I was asking kasi baka pweding i-DIY na lang pag-ayos ng cable pero di ko talaga mabuksan yung hood. Anyway, share ko na lang ginawa sa shop, bale tinanggal nila yung front grill which took them almost 1 hour to do it then yung lock assembly naman yung dinis-assemble. Luckily, naputol pala yung cable sa dulo mismo kaya nilagyan na lang ng parang nipple with screw para maipit yung end point at maikabit dun sa lock. Naka-save ako sa cable.

Buhayin ko lang itong thread makatulong sa mga maka experience nito.

napatid din yung hood cable ko. ang ginawa nung mechanic kinalas yung grill and lock ng hood. doon napatid yung pina 'head' na kinakapitan ng cable. less 10 minutes lang niya ginawa. nag canvass ako sa walco yung hood cable

is 750 pesos. kahit saan ako magtanong yan talaga price. sabi ko sa mechanic gawa na lang paraan bili na lang cable sa bicycle shop. ang ginawa remove yung lumang cable ( inner lang hindi na kinalas yung 'jacket or housing' sa loob ng vehicle hinatak} tapos pinasok doon yung new cable at lumabas sa may hood, kinabitan ng niple na may screw ( nabili rin ito sa bike shop) sa dulo at yun ang nakakabit sa lock ng hood. gastos ko 50 pesos sa cable at 10 pesos sa screw.

Nakakuha ako idea kay mac40. Salamat.

Puede ito DiY. tip lang wag ng tanggalin ang orig cable housing or jacket. mas mahirap yun marami ka pang kailangan tanggalin.

Di ko masyado gamitin sa city driving. Ibabyahe ko Manila-Pangasinan.. and papunta bukid namin.
I am after reliability, economical fuel consumption, high ground clearance (gagamitin ko sa rough road, sa bukid), affordable, low maintenance, kaya umakyat ng bundok.
OK ba Crosswind XT dun?
