    ALIGNMENT questions po:

i've been troubleshooting cause of uneven wear of front tires. naka ilang balik na sa servitek pero ok naman lahat alignment analysis. finally, servitek mechanic recommended replacement of idler arm and then check for possible camber, caster at alignment (for the nth time ).

suggestions or tips from those who had the same and solved the problem? salamat!!!

XT, XTO are the non-sporty models, XUV and XUVi are sporty ones, They no longer release XUVi's, I think the last was 2005.

    Accessories ang differences nila.

The XTO is part of the standard ride height group. XUV, XUVi, XTRM, and Sportivo models have a higher riding body with fender flares and body cladding and a spare tire on the tailgate to emulate a sport utility vehicle..

Just wondering what an XTO would look like if it were equipped with an XUV's fender flares but retaining the XTO's alloy wheels and ride height. No photoshop installed to try it out.

The offset is a bit of a mismatch. I've seen an XTO being kitted out with XUV flares back when body cladding and flares where the 'in' thing. The wheel's offset makes it look too small tired for the body kit.

On the other hand, the flares and cladding help avoid body damage from other cars parked beside you. The XT I drove had a huge dent in the door after some moron hit it with a car door. We had it repaired at a PDR facility. But still the time and expense could have been avoided if the vehicle had adequate protection.

Do you think it'll look good with wider tires to compensate for the flares offset but the same rolling diameter as the old one? I've driven both the XL and XUV variants and the sluggishness is really noticeable with the XUV (perhaps because of the bigger tires?)

    goodluck chuck,
you should have check it thoroughly before you bought the car.
p.check up mo na lng yan sa casa or sa mga ibang shop para mas makatipid ka,for sure mas madaling malaman ang problema pag nasa actual na.

Paunti unti naayos kuna yung crosswind ko ano pa ba kulang?
Change oil, fuel filter & oil filter
    overhaul ng mga brakes
tune up & valve clearance adjustment
Change of tires from 205 65 to 205 70 tapos na balance na rin
Planning to put 1 din dvd tv monitor next month
