Hahaha! Relax ka lang. Lahat tayo natututo sa forum. Sige lang, magtanong para sa karagdagang kaalaman.

[QUOTE=im_mblue;1746149]Hehehe... Sir Red, under the hood kasi may insulation yun for heat

Yes axle oil yung sa rear solid axle, shell SAE 140 would be ok. Gear oil for manual tranny mo naman, shell sae 90 or similar viscosity rating unless specifically may required na iba yung manual. Much better to use synthetic like valvoline to prolong the life of the gears and axle since every 20-30K kms naman palit eh.

The specs seemed to be like OEM --- only that the rim width is 8"! OEM is only 6.5" (or 7") A knowledgeable (and trusted) rim/tire shop should be able to decipher if that spec would fit a Crosswind without issues. Oh, correct tire specs (particularly width and flat rate) would prove important too.

Slightly OT: Got pic of the rim in that box to show us? Hehehe!

Safe ba yan?

    Pros and Cons appreciated.

Been trying to educate myself on some concerns on the diesel engine
and I came across your concern in this thread of DIESELDUDE:

    http://tsikot.com/forums/showthread....lp-Desk/page28

Here's a quote from this thread:

This means that fuel STARTS to inject during the engine's compression stroke at 20 degrees before the piston reaches its topmost position.

Advancing timing by 1 or 2 degrees may not have any noticeable effects. But a large deviation will apply excessive load on the engine, and result in poor engine performance, overheating, smoke, and high fuel consumption.

Your question was good. This topic is very important to all diesel users. We can go deeper into this matter if needed.

Because a mechanic friend of mine told me that if I advance the timing of my injection pump I would substantially improve upon my BSFC and lessen my emission, but also said this would be at the expense of more noise and clatter. The term "a little bit" is quite vague. It would be good if your machanic knows how many degrees he intends to advance timing. 1 deg. advance from manufacturer's specs may not show any noticeable effect. But as timing is more advanced, change will be more noticeable as the engine's performance will detriorate.

Is this true? This is not true.

I will try to prepare a brief description of diesel injection timing for you soon.

Medyo bz lang ako ngayon. Bye....

I would encourage you to take some pointers on that thread...hehehe, pareho tayong matututo from
    the experts.
