I have a crosswind xtrm 2002 manual. I encountered the problem last week while driving at NLEX my speedometer stuck up at 60KPH. But its a weird scenario when I nearly home and slowing my speed, the speedometer staggered (parang bilang bumababa pero pahinto-hinto)in going near Zero (hindi cya umabot sa zero). While the engine still running I top the intrument panel glass then the speedometer needle goes to zero. Any advice on this matter will be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

FYI, Newbie on the forum and first post.

    hi guys baka may makatulong.

my xwind xuv is just around 5 months old around 7K Km mileage.

i encountered this prob just yesterday, di ko alam ano ang cause baka may naka experience na sa inyo, pagdating ng 2500-3000rpm nagkakaroon ng power fluctuation yung engine. di ko alam bakit. hindi tumutuloy yung arangkada nya, same thing na nangyayari pag may engine rpm cut off. kaso sa pagkakaalam ko naman walang cut off ang xwind, or kung meron di naman siguro 2500.

ang level ng fuel is more than half pa. di ko alam if nakapagpakarga ako sa gas station na may tubig kaya ganun, kaso naisip ko lang bakit dun lang sa rpm na yun ko na eexperience. madalas kasi 2k or less 2.5k rpm shift na ako, kahapon lang i need to overtake sa nagtahan so kinailangan ko ng mas mataas na rpm mag shift, so dun ko lang napansin.

iniisip ko baka something with the turbo pag sumipa eh may prob kaya nagkakaganun, parang aarangkada tapos mapipigilan.

if may idea kayo or experience sana matulungan nyo ako, para malaman ko din kung ano prob and if that is something i can claim sa warranty, i already inform my dealer, dalin ko na lang daw sa shop nila, so sched ko na lang by sat. for the mean time baka may ma share kayong inputs

    thanks

So glad to let my xwind aircon cleaned kangina coz if I've waited another month, baka masira pa... Grabe na ang duming kumakapit sa evaporator and nangingitim na rin kulay... I tried to DIY cleaned it last week using "Bosny Foam Aircon cleaner" bumango nga at may pumapatak na dumi sa ilalim but still may kunti pa ring amoy na galing sa maruming evaporator.. Para wala nang duda, pinalinis ko na agad lahat para sure na.. Very cool pa rin ang aircon kaya di mo talaga mapapansin na merong problema and the only way to find out is to let the mechanic clean it up for you...

Sana kinunan mo ng Pics while the mechanics are cleaning the aircon just to give us an idea how it's being done.

I am assuming na manual XUV mo sir bida? If matic kasi medo mas complicated. Pero if Manual tranny yan, baka nga sa turbo niya yan. Covered pa naman ng warranty yan. Just explain to the Casa what you experienced and they would surely know what to check.
