January 22nd, 2008 11:01 PM #441Thanks XER and Bikoy888 for posting your experiences on crosswind. more power to you and your crosswind.
It's a good move by Izuzu to install low-charged turbo on all their variants. In case power is needed it's just a matter of pressing the gas pedal even deeper to achieve speed. Now more people would want to own a crosswind.

January 23rd, 2008 10:39 AM #443I just sold my 2002 XTRM xwind. Only advantage I see with the xwind e matipid and low maintenance. other than that wala na!
It's noisy...try having normal conversation while traveling at 100kph..magsisigawan kayo sa loob.
Matagtag...I could see my passengers head bouncing around in the rear view mirror. kung mag-isa ka ok lang, kc nakakapit ka sa manibela. I don't think that "flexride" suspension would make any difference.
Mabagal...iiwan ka ng mga naka jazz sa nlex.
Lastly, no safety features, 1st row lang ang 3pt seatbelts. 2nd row lapbelts and none for the 3rd row(?). This is a joke! bigyan naman nila konti respect filipino motorist at lagyan ng 3pt seatbelt man lang ang 2nd row.
Sabi ng iba kaya 150kph?! di ko kaya yan, specially with my kids sitting at 2nd row with just lapbelts.
Oh well.. it did served it purpose, naka 6yrs and 96k++kms din naman sa akin.
Got a Carens, couldnt be happier seeing my kids doze off at the back kc tahimik at di matagtag.
No offense, the xwind was good back then...but now there are much better choices!

January 30th, 2008 02:45 PM #448Tnx Bikoy! kaso problema ko naman wala ung dalawang pangtanggal ng stereo. Un yata ung extraction key na sinasabi nila.. May nabibili kya nun? Saka nga pala na-try nyo n b'to? ito yung link http://stereophonik.com/gutterslide/IP-BUS_Hack/. Effective daw 'to kc ibang frends ko nasubukan na nila. Para daw masaksakan ng ipod or any mp3 player device ung stereo using the IP-Bus, ung saksakan ng cd changer.. kc diba walang aux-in ung pioneer n head unit.. Kaya nga gusto ko matanggal ung head unit ko para masubukan ko 'to..
