question po..

kelan ba umiilaw yung fuel warning light sa alterra? i got curious kasi so i tried checking.. nase empty line na yung fuel guage ko pero di pa din umiilaw kahit isang beses yung warning light.. i'm not sure if that thing goes on when the guage is below the empty line and i don't want to risk testing it dahil baka defective yung warning light ko and bigla ako mamatayan in the middle of the road..

hope to hear from you guys so i could have mine checked if it's indeed defective.. thanks po in advance!

Best that you bring it to your service dealer for checking. I have not had the experience of going empty, usually it is only 1/4 and then I fill up again.

I had a discussion with the IPC people and regretfully, we have to postpone the Tagaytay funrun to another date. Probably come October. Things did not materialize so it is not benificial to the group to do the event. I will keep you posted here.

Hello guys, I saw your group taking pictorials during your last EB in Metrowalk. I was dealing with a car buyer that time so I didn’t have a chance to introduce myself to your group. Anyway, it is nice to know that your club is growing so rapidly with members and sponsors. I can’t recall other clubs that have sponsors for just a short period of time and joined Car shows… Congratulations guys! You deserve it.

Jqn88, yup, it’s better to have the dealer check it to avoid impurities from getting inside the engine. We better take care of our injectors.

Pero FYI lang. Fuel warning light illuminates when the needle is almost touching the Empty line then you go up inclined roads… It happened to me once.

Newbie po ako dito sa forum ninyo . . . sa kakabasa ko sa mga posts ninyo ay nakumbinse ako na Alterra na ang next car na kukunin ko. Sa ngayon ay 2003 Crosswind XUVi A/T ang ride ko at balak ko na mag upgrade to an ALTERRA.

Di ko pa kaya mag brand new unit so 2nd lang na around 900T ang presyo. Kung swap ng Crosswind ko eh dagdagan ko na lang

A very good decision po yan! You can check out the buy n sell site right here sa Tsikot po. Just click on Isuzu and then search for "Alterra". Once in a while you will get a seller. I hope you find your Alterra and after that please join us on our monthly EB. You are most welcome to join us on this Saturday's Tsikot event na "Autoberfest", kasama po kami dyan. Just look for the nicest Alterras in the car show, hehe! See you there po!

Yes you need to step on the gas lightly and "pitik2" lang ang apak. But if you heavy foot the gas, of course expect less than 10/km. Also the 4x4 consumes more fuel than a 4x2 vehicle.
