sa trooper namin i put on 275/60r18 tires.. kc mejo malaki ang wheel arc ng trooper compare sa altera so, i nid to fill it up... dati it was just a 50 series tire but pangit tingnan... maliit... so, i changed it to 60 series.. try mo lng kung nao ang babagay.. and i got the 8inch wide na rims pala para malapad and malaki tingnan...

tama rin si sir blu gambit... dat size is of tire&rim combo is almost the same diameter or dimension ng factory tires... so matipid ka parin..yun sa akin naman ay 1inch higher... not that much naman but maganda kc tingnan and mejo pang offorad tire pa nilagay.. so mejo malaki ang grooves nya thus the macho off road look also... hehehehe....

wala po yata sir! mas maganda po ikaw na lang po magpalit nang rim at tires medyo makakatipid ka pa kesa sa casa. pero tanong ka din po sa mga isuzu dealers baka pwede po yung gusto mo.

sir I think you should ask them also if they would allow it will they still honor the warranty on your suspension???

From what I know they usually dont allow this, I asked hyundai once if thats ok but the SA told me it would void the warranty. If I really wanted to change rims I'd better do it with some aftermarket shop secretly from the casa's knowledge and KEEP the original rims so when I go back for the PMS I could put back the orig rims before check-up and keep the warranty in tact.

Nga pla I saw a White Altera today with 20' rims I think with 275 or 285 low profile (45 or 50) tires. Astig!!!!!

Honestly dati I really did'nt like the side profile of the altera especially the back, but as I see more it grew on me. Between fortuner and Altera, Isuzu's got my vote specially the leather clad and 5.1 sound interior!!!

yes sir meron po sila binebenta mga accessories para sa alterra. ask ka lang dun sa goldrich, kung wala po yung gusto mo oorderin nila para sayo. kumpleto po lahat dun sa goldrich one stop shop na!

Been following thread since the launch of the very first Alterra
and..Well what can I say I've seen it all!!
Lahat ng Ups and Downs about this nice..And I mean NICE SUV!!
well ganun talaga tyo mga noypi hilig sa criticism.. lahat may bahid..
blahblah...blah..well we can't blame ourselves ksi gnun talaga eh..
di maiwasan..
First ung styling nito..grbeh laht na ata ng review laging may nega..
yes its conservative but its never ugly!!
then ung suspension..well..leaf springs...di maiwasan ksi andyan ung common knowledge about it..
why not give it a chance?right?!
engine? muka nman walng reklamo mga happy owners!!
oh ngayon..hati na ang oppinions about its choosen system.
keh panget o mganda lets not jump to conclusions 1st dba hehehe!!..
enjoy nman mga owners of this Suv dba!!

sir peter.... dpat talaga ikeep mo ang stock rims and tire.. just in case ur gonna sell ur unit you could sell it by just the stock rims... kc hindi mo pwede taasan ng price ang ride dahil sa rims or accesories nilagay mo... but unless ur rims are already messed up den pwede mo isama nalng sa ride but kung makinis and still blinging.. its better you will put back the stock rims and sell the rims narin or use it on ur next ride....

nasa 100,000 plus kung naka chrome rims with that combination... ipa fit mo lang sir peter... tingnan mo muna kung babagay ba... and try using a 8" or wider rims... mas babagay tingnan and naka chrome pa... db silver alterra mo?? maybe it will look good on bronze or dark chrome rims also....

Correct k dyan Sir. For me, sulit na sulit na gamit ko kay Alterra. Actually mas gusto ko pa syang gamitin sa Fortuner namin. hehehe.

Sayang lang at wala pang available na 4x4 variant nun. Ito din reason kaya di pa namin maibenta si Fortuner. kailangan din kasi namin minsan ng 4x4 sa mga pinupuntahan naming mga places. Disappointed lang ako kay Fortuner kasi matagtag sya kahit coil spring rear suspension ang set up nya...

Ei guys! I'm just wondering, pag na chipped out kya yung computer box ng altera would it yeild the same power and torque as toyota's 3.0L d4d and mitsu's 3.2L crdi or comparable??
