hmmm...same as yours sir jag22 and how about:
    1. HID 6000k headlamp with washer and wiper
    2. automatic rainsensing wipers
    3. built in mini cooler/refrigirator box
    4. global d-max ride height
    5. rear stabilizer bar (ala 07 everest) for rear stability
    6. standard roof lights (jeep rubicon style)
    7. 10 or 8 way power adjustable driver seat!!
    8. elevated third row seat, since they cant lower the footwell (theaterstyle?)

sori for the term complicated bro, wat i mean is for a non techi alterra owners, medyo dificult ang mga controls nya like ung adjustment nung equalizer, playing videos. Majority kc ng mga alterra owners mga dadi's natin but for us "yuppies" d more complicated, mas okei satin... challenging ika nga. but dats my point of view po.. peace!

I just remembered when I inquired about the d-max a few weeks ago if upgrading the d-max/altera headlights to HID's if it would void the warranty on those projectors, the SA said it would and he said that there we're "some cases that the headlamp cover would melt/deform if installed with a too high temp or bright bulbs" and this would entail replacement of the entire headlight assembly.

but that's also what I'm wondering if which did he mean replacing the bulds with high temp (8000K) HID's or higher wattage halogens ( 65/55w to 100/90w ) well just a heed of warning to you guys. better check it out b4 those upgrades, really cant confirm this. Just an SA told me.

unless isuzu complies with hid standards (markings sa headlamp assembly) similar sa camry (hi end variant na equip npo w/ hid). since parang flourescent sa liwanag, modied angle ng mga lens and reflectors nito para di masakit sa mata nung kasalubong.
Btw news update mga bro's: friend of mine informd me n mey minor changes nga w/ d alterra (ksma sa display). exterior: euro design sideview mirror w/ power folding + wide angle lense. sa interior: chrome n ung door handle, integrated ung control sa key, new design subwoofer (slimtype and pre amp na), new HU (can answr and recieve kols and read txt messages via bluetooth wireless) and lastly, mey video reverse camera (colored with nyt vision). kelangan mapuntahan ung display kung totoong enhanced ung tunog. COOL!

I have heard about some problems with regards to the long drive ride of the Alterra. Are these true? Kumusta ang ride niya?

I was asked to accompany a close friend (hindi mahihindian) to the province, and he'll be driving an Alterra, passenger ako for the entire trip, wala pang license eh ... I had a bad experience with an Isuzu Hi-lander (sumakit ng sobra ang katawan ko) and I really don't like that to repeat once more.

okay naman ride ng Alterra pero may roads talaga na matagtag sya pero kung smooth ang roads para kang lumulutang.

For me okay ride ng Alterra compared to my Fortuner kaya ito ginagamit namin for long trips.

Try mo muna bro. God bless

i think the SA was talking about people who change their headlight bulbs to higher wattage, these could really melt your headlights because they produce much more heat... HIDs on the other hand are of lower wattage than stock bulbs and produce lower heat so its hard to believe that HIDs would melt your headlights... as an example your stock bulb is 55 watts a 6000k HID is only 35 watts...
