ako din Innova din ang pinagpilian ko over crosswind. mas maganda din ang interior nya. but nung tinimbang ko, mas importante pra sa akin ung fuel economy. actually un ung top consideration ko, that's why i decided on the xwind. Second ung proven na tibay nang makina.
but still maraming plus factors tlga ang innova. un nga lang di ko kasi alam kung gaano itatagal ang D4D dahil bago palang ito.
i hope you make thorough analysis tlga para satisfied ka sa magiging purchase mo. Good luck.

dadagdag ako sa panggulo ng isip mo hehehe..nah.. just want to share my personal experience on the crosswind. i drive an xto btw.
- on fuel efficiency, I've been monitoring my fuel consumption since day 1 and after more than 166,000kms, still averaging 11km/liter city driving, 13-16km/li hiway driving, over-all average about 12.5km/liter. Of course I follow the change oil, change filters preventive maintenace every 5-8thousand kilometers and am also an avid biodiesel user.
- on reputation for diesel engines, isuzu wins that hands down simply because they've been developing diesel engines far longer than toyota. the 4ja1 engine itself has been around a long time. 1988 pa pala sya, siguro engine nung mga isuzu elf trucks noon sa japan. but the d4d engine of toyota is a new engine platform because it uses the common rail injection system. the crdi system has been around a long time, pero ngayon or fairly recently lang yata pumasok ang toyota dyan. isuzu was ahead when they released their 3.0L crdi engine powered trooper back in 2002(?) or 2001(?). madami din naging problem trooper non di lang masyado publicized unlike the d4d problems. as for availability of parts, I think the crosswind would have more parts since it shares the 4JA1 engine with the isuzu fuego 4x2 pickup trucks and its older sibling, the original hilanders SL, SLX, and even the orig hilander XTRM.

Pero on the other hand, pag naka bwelo naman sya uli, pwedeng makipaghabolan sa mga gasoline engined revos, adventures even some cars. Isa pang plus ng crosswind is akyatan even with full load.

Sir, which do you prefer; diesel or gas? Ganun lang po kasimple, since dalawa lang pala ang pagpipilian mo.
Now if you want to choose vehicle brands in case diesel ang preference mo, then palagay ko you have to check all the topics related to diesel engined vehicles. (matagal to )
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
