That's the question...parang gusto kong i-try yung diesel kasi currently gamit ko gas na auto. mahirap daw ba mag-maintain ng diesel engine? ok ba diesel engine ng adventure 2007? ok kasi yung offer ng adventure na 10 seater XLS model with 25k gift check. plus all powered nga sya. i already have read some topics about diesel pero would like to know doon sa mga owners ng adventure about their experienced.

love ko ang 4ja1 engine ng pickup, super efficient.

yun nga lang, medyo hirap sa akyatan (eg. puntafuego), upto 2nd gear lang.

musta naman ang climbing power ng 4ja1 turbo ng crosswind?

We just bought an Isuzu 2007 Sportivo, and this is our second Isuzu AUV. I assure you it's okay! The only question remaining is, is it Manual or Automatic? Both are Okay. My first is Manual and my Sportivo is Automatic.
Di naman talaga sya ganoon kaingay. mas maingay pa nga yung ibang AUV dyan...di ko na mention names or brands nung AUV na sinasabi kong mas maiingay to be fair! Ask mo parents mo kung ano preferred nila, manual or Automatic. Brand New bilhin mo....

Di naman sa sinisiraan ko andventure 2007, pero sa totoo lang, yan ang sasakyan ng utol ko at HINDI ako satisfied....walang binatbat sa Isuzu Crosswinds or even sa Hilander kong luma pagdating sa engine performance. pagdating sa looks, mas magandang di hamak ang Sportivo 2007 namin. anyway, beauty is relative sa bawat individual.

Ang alam ko, nakipag joint venture ang toyota sa isuzu para makapaglagay sila ng isuzu engines sa toyota suv nila???/ again, di ako sure ha????paki search ang websites sa US regarding toyota and isuzu???/ don't just believe me, research nyo muna....di ko na rin maalala yung website at baka mali pagka intindi ko sa nabasa ko? Errrh... yung nagsasabi mga may-ari ng Crosswind. Kahit masaya din kami sa tipid at tibay ng makina nito, inaamin din namin na may mga problema din siya.

Madali din kasing magkalas yung mga trim at hinges dahil sa vibrations... at medyo madaling maluto yung mga plastic handles after four or five years... although whether present pa rin yung problem na ito, di pa ako sure. Pero ganyan ang problem ng 1st gen Hilander, 2nd gen Hilander Crosswind, 3rd gen Hilander Crosswind XUV, etcetera.

Yung last na maalala kong improvements, wala na yung radiator problem at yung exhaust problem... yung sa hinges, di pa sure, dahil bagong bago pa lang yung current Sportivo line.

Congrats sa bagong sasakyan.

Pero, malamang mas tahimik yung mga bagong Crosswind, dahil turbo na ang lahat, pati manual. Usually mas tahimik ang exhaust ng turbocharged na makina.

nagstick ako sa xwind bro. I got my XTi nung first week of MAY from Inteco Balintawak. I drove it for a couple of weeks before returning overseas and all I can say is I didn't make the wrong choice.
My parents loved it (since para naman tlga sa kanila ito).
Radiator issues were already solved. Plus their new leaf springs did an improvement, tho matagtag parin ng konti sa front-facing 3rd row (when i tried to be a passenger). But still, not a huge problem for me.
I got the sterling silver, by the way. Nice.

Thats good choice mate. nothing compare to isuzu, lahat naman may negative side but mas marami ang positive side. 2007 xuv unit ko.

turbo timer-- if you have extra cash..

pero kung ala, just slow-down when you're near your destination, lalo kung long country road drives..at alot ka 1-2 minutes of idle before turning off the engine... NEVER rev the engine prior turning off--yan ang nakakasira ng turbo!

kung city-city lang, basta idle mo lang sandali bago patayin ok na yun..

ganyan din ang turbo timer.....ang advantage lang, pag off- mo ung susi, tumatakbo pa ang makina until the preset time elapsed..meaning, pwede mo na iwanan ang sasakyan and go immediately.
