If I ever get mine sir, baka isabay ko un pagcheck and clean every 20,000 kms or annually whichever comes first. Kasi humihigop pa din naman hangin yan kahit naka idle and running engine or kung nakastop sa traffic.

Though it says 50k miles but probably going to clean mine during my vacay / every 6th month or 5k kms the same way as per PMS sched.

Then replaced it if the filter is not efficient anymore. Say 4 years, a year after warranty of the product expires.

My from-factory air filter only lasted for 10k kms (Manila everyday traffic). Di na malinis after that, I had to buy a new one During my 10k km PMS.

After fitting a snorkel & currently at 16k kms use (air filter replaced again at 20k kms), my air filter is still usable, only about 50% dirty. ;)

Wala sa KM reading, nasa usage and environment where you car is being used. Visual inspection to know if it needs cleaning.

Do not blow compressed air on your k&n filter. Masisira yung cotton fibers, nasa cleaning instructions yan. Just use a mild detergent soap (like joy dishwashing liquid) then let it dry under the sun, put recharger oil afterwards then let it dry again under the sun.

Before installing your k&n filter, soak it under 12noon-3pm sunlight for about 45 mins to 1hr to dry up any excess oil. This excess oil can easily foul up the MAF sensor.

Nakasulat yan lahat sa packaging ng k&n, sinummarize ko lang.

This can be answered by checking even on their website. Pre-installed 10in roof mount dvd monitor for LS-A A/T variants only.

And regarding the need for a roof mounted monitor if you already have the M/T variant, this can also be answered on your local audio shop which is accessible to you. It would be akward if i recommend say for example "subw4r davao" if you are thousand miles away.

i understand and i did, the concern is that i also came across some info providing such.

anyway i got my unit and it didnt have an overhead lcd. its fine though

and i shouldve asked if there is someone here that was able to purchase the same lcd monitor that the ATs have on a 3rd party seller, here in manila, and how much. and the installation,
or any products that is comparable to it. because im sure if i get it from isuzu itself it aint gonna be cheap.

Nung November 2014 promo sa LS variant (base model) with 2 headrest monitors and backup camera.

Siguro ganun na lang gawin mo kung gusto mo talaga ng manual.. or buy a similar system from AVT, I'm sure kaya nila iretrofit yun.

yeah medyo mahal na ung next current version, more than 100k difference na so i guess di na pasok sa budget sir. im not exactly sure kung san un AVT sir.

anyway thank you. sir aaron dami pa din ako tatanong, i havent realy ridden it test drive lang and kanina pagka kuha ng unit, i have much to learn about this car, unlike ung crosswind ko na parang plug and play lang hehe.

and pls i would like to learn a more about the mux, especially the occ and yang nga yang digital performance monitor reader para status ng mux hehe,

i guess first thing i gotta get maya is ung cabin filter para di agad dumumi ung evaporator ng oto.

OT: but I'd like to ask if mahihirapan ba Mux natin kahit 4x2 to tackle some slightly muddy farm roads? Planning on bringing it to the farm instead of the pick up this weekend. Any advice?

Hi Turbo Diesel, no problem MuX 4x2 natin on muddy farm roads, sa akin almost every other weekend dala sa farm (bundok). About 4km na rough and muddy road dinadaanan ko papasok from provincial pave road to the farm. Slow speed lang talaga, ESC and TCS kicks in and really helps on difficult terrain.

Rugged use tagala ang unit ko, i've removed the 3rd row seat, kinakarga ko sacks of fertilizer, feeds, tools & marcotted plants kasya lahat hehehe ... tomorrow i will bring back sa bahay maliit na kambing
from the farm.... suotan ko nang diaper ang kambing para protection sa ibak di magkalat sa loob ng MuX... hahaha.

About 4km na rough and muddy road dinadaanan ko papasok from provincial pave road to the farm. Slow speed lang talaga, ESC and TCS kicks in and really helps on difficult terrain.

ganun ba.. thanks sa suggestion... basta carwash (with underchassy wash) lang pagdating galing farm... and you can spray lysol to disinfect the inside air... its good and fresh as new ulit ang MuX.

Try to pursuade your SA to throw in the window visor for free.
Spare tire lock you could buy one at any hardware store in the mall just ask the attendant for the Top of the line motorbike lock it wouldn't excee 900 pesos. And if you have the budget include the spare tire cover too it costs around 3k pesos. For the utility box contact sir Emil( Oakley Custom Lenses | Facebook ).

Accessories that I installed for protection is yung Side stepsills and rear bumper step sills to prevent scratches.
