Since its a new engine, meron pa din risk. Hindi lahat ng isuzu engines ay ok (google "4jx1"). Perhaps research it more rather than blindly relying on the isuzu reputation.

Yung gamit dito na 3.0 matagal na yan. Proven na reliability. Even the 2.5 is not really brand new.

Clearly im not pertaining to the 4jk1 and 4jj1 engines currently being sold.

Just to be clear, hindi ako anti-isuzu. Im currently driving an isuzu and nakapila din ako for a 3.0 mux. What im trying to say is that the new 1.9 engine is what it is - a new engine so hindi pa proven unlike the 2.5 and 3.0. Ofcourse people learn from past mistakes (at least they are expected to) but there is no guarantee na hindi na sila magkakamali ulit.

Again, im not attacking isuzu here, just stating my general opinion on new tech. With all due respect, wag naman tayo maging magaspang or masyado magpahalata na fanboy sir. Peace

Test drive both 2-3 times to get your answer.

If you ask here syempre ang sagot MUX. If you ask at the Everest thread, syempre Everest. Please have your due diligence in choosing what you want. Parang namimili ka din ng iboboto mo bilang Pangulo ng Pilipinas, syempre check the merits and de merits of each. Backreading will be good too ;)

But honestly between the two i'd pick the MUX all day. I don't need electronic aids in driving. Makes me a dumber driver by the day. I don't want to gamble reliability as well when those electronic gadgetry goes kaput.

But if the Monterosport is brought into the choices, i'd pick the Monty. ;)

Haha.. Di naman. Pag nadrive mo na di na mahirap. When I say test drive, once you have driven it, makipagpalit ka sa salesman. Upo ka sa passenger seat, upo ka sa 2nd row, upo ka sa 3rd row. Dun mo malalaman kasi kung anong feeling pag nakasakay ka. Turn off the radio, and tell the salesman to shut up just drive. 😎
