Just sharing a 0-100KM test conducted by PDriveTV in youtube. 2014 Isuzu MUX 3.0 vs 2016 Toyota Fortuner 2.8

kahit mas malaki horsepower at torque ng foturner in paper specs mas mabilis parin si mux 3.0 sa 0-100km test

I have 2.5 4x4 .. inakyat ko sa sagada fully loaded (7 passengers) .. malakas naman humatak.. nakakapag overtake pa kahit paakyat (naiinis ako sa revo na mausok at nahirapan umakyat kaya binarurot ko si mux hehehe)

I find 2.5 a balance between highway and traffic in terms of fuel consumption specially kung palagi ka nadaan sa metro manila.. or kahit saang city na medyo traffic

Hehehe share ko lng mga k mu-x sa experience ko dito with my previous car ...about sa paglagay ng liquid refill na nabibili sa mga car accessories this is what I observe my chemicals sya n nakaka sira ng rubber sa loob ng reservoir which can cause in the long run magiging brittle yung rubbers and will cause leak....mas maigi pa siguro plane mineral water na lang just sharing....

baka distilled water ang ibig sabihin ni sir ^ (wilkins/absolute/SM bonus) less or none ang water marks kapag distilled

I agree on this one, the 3.0 will drive much better on the highway and that extra hp for overtaking is a must. Plus less engine stress means longer engine life as well.

FC would not be much different nga since mostly hway use.

Update ko fuel consumption recent Bico trip this weekend (Manila to Bicol (Albay) and vice versa):

Total kms traveled = 1107.69
Total liters consumed (full tank method) = 103.82
kms per liter = 10.67

Okay na din considering lots of overtaking done and madami din idling time while waiting.

sa LS-A 2.5, basta diin yapak lang sa throttle pedal, nag-ddown shift naman sya ng kusa kapag ramdam nya naghahanap ka ng bwelo.

2.5 LSM fastest I did was 175 km/h (GPS) sa speedometer 180km/h na. From 165km/h medyo mabagal na sya umakyat ng speed halos mga 30 seconds din yata before getting to 175km/h.

Best advice I can give you: don't park sa alanganin. As much as possible, park near mall entrances, park with the rear facing the tire guard para masikip doon sa ilalim. I only use a bike lock type chain. Kung nanakawin kasi yan, kahit naka spare tire lock pa yan na tig-p1500, kaya nila baklasin yan.

160kph to Baguio
70kph to Manila

Loaded ng mga damit and pasalubong from Baguio. 3 adults 1 child

Regarding spare tire lock. Yan din sinabi sakin, kung nanakawin yan, kahit anong kadena ilagay, kaya nila putilin. Better to on the safest spot.

Share ko lang. After 6mos of using unioil, lipat muna ako sa petron with their turbo diesel. Startup is much faster, shutdown is much smoother, sempre mas malakas un batak. Regards sa fc maybe next week. Medyo napasarap kasi sa yapak
