All New Isuzu MU-X // Alterra Next Generation

Like many others before me, I lined up to reserve (and paid a fee) a unit of Isuzu muX. There were many temptations with lots of car exhibits at malls and newer models coming out, but I waited quietly for my turn. In fact I could even go for a month without nagging my agent with pesky calls or annoying texts.

I received some calls from other dealers I went earlier to, asking me for update if I was still interested in getting a unit from their dealership. I was honest to tell them that I'm still waiting then.

Here are some horror stories about DI-related offers to facilitate quick release:

1. One agent in QC said I need to pay 3% DI so I can walk away with my muX on the same day.
2. Second agent called me and asked if I can shell out 30K on top of the standard 1% DI my bank will be giving out to the dealer.
3. Third agent suggested that I pay 2% DI of which 1% will come from the bank, the other 1% I will be giving it straight to the agent (reason: so as not to mess up the fixed MA computation by the bank). He assured me I can get my unit in less than 15 days.
4. Fourth agent asked for 15K to get me on top of their wait list

Some agents went beyond professionalism and business ethics to get money. Let me be clear here: I wrote "some" agents. Not all.

Patience has its own rewards. I sped off with my car today because I had a good relationship with the agents and perhaps, by proverbial design, another client who earlier made a reservation was no longer interested. So there, I got the unit instead. The guy patiently waiting.

No extra DI paid than necessary. And lotsa patience. And luck.

Got my mux 6 days ago and its beautiful and its almost perfect just notice about the back camera is it really that so bright is there anyway that can i make any adjustment?

Kahit man lang sa TOTL, di justifiable yung price ng 4x4 kung yun lang difference sa 4x2 LS-A.

Sir SPO10, Ganyan din kmi ni misis..after almost 3 mos. waiting for nothing, nag Montero GLSV A/T na lang kmi last June 15. So far, happy kmi.
