Hmmm. It should improve but not by much. Parang matakaw ah. Considering its a sunday. My sunday city driving yields 10kpl pero pure city driving ito. Highway driving I can get as high as 18kpl at 80kph. Pero at 100kph nasa 14 to 15kpl lang.

Try resetting the kpl gauge when you are on the highway. Baka hindi mo pa nareswt since last refuel. Either that or hataw driving ka hehe.

To be accurate bro, reset mo when younenter the highway na. After 1.5kpms titipid pa yan siguro by 1kpl.

Back read lang meron comparison yan. Ang selling point ng 2.5 is fuel economy while 3.0 is more power. More power = more consumption. On the same manner kaya mas mahal ang 3.0 than 2.5 .

FC aside, how's the response and power of the engine? Ramdam talaga at low RPMs? I've read somebody here mentioned na linear din ang acceleration ng 3.0.

I've driven one and yes its linear too. Pero compared to the 2.5vgs halos walang turbo lag ito kaya mas masarap dalhin. Even with the lower fc, I'd get this anytime over the 2.5 hehe.

So it might be similar to the 3.0 Fortuner but with just slightly more precious torque.

Call me OC pero ang sarap buksan ng bahagya ng windows sa passenger side and listen to the turbo spool. Kapag sarado ang windows parang maybdroning sound...nakakainis hehe.

No. What I'm talking about is the power and response of the engine, not FC.

Pag tiningnan mo kasi sa specs ang 3.0 ng Fort & MU-X, same silang 163ps but of course, the latter has more torque. I'm guessing na ganun din sa 3.0 MU-X but with more torque, more or less mas malakas ang hatak niya kahit medyo limited lang yung range.

This translates to linear acceleration kaya nabanggit ko na similar ang 3.0 engines ng dalawa in terms of power delivery.

I enjoyed driving the 2.5 lsa using sequencial shifting. (Pangovertake sa mga kuliglig at tricycle.) Overall, it was really an enjoyable trip with my family. No hassle. Ample power indeed...

Oks un turo sakin ni Bro Djerms to utilize D- on descents. Will keep everyone posted sa FC but medyo malikot ako magdrive. 😊
Grabeng traffic sa NLEX right after SCTEX. Medyo nka 80km+ lng after Apalit Bridge then sobrang traffic na nman getting into Bocaue Exit. Eto na un FC so far:
After full tank last Wednesday then full tank after Baguio Trip, we computed 13.8 Km/l. Medyo matakaw ako mag overtake at ave speed of 135 kml throughout SCTEX/TPLEX. Did not try to go over 160 na takot ako eh. Hehe. Napakadami na ng MUX talaga. Saw 3.0 Black sa Mines View. Unsure but parang di maganda un muffler tip.

Sir, galing sin sa jazz and thinking of getting an mux soon, di ba malaking adjustment sa driving? ( yung lapad ng mux, turning radius ) Ang jazz kasi napakadaling sumingit singit sa traffic pag kailangan. Prro most of the time patient driver naman ako hehe. Any inputs from previous sub compact owners will be greatly appreciated. thank u!
