It does to me. :-) Baka iba-iba iniisip natin sa "new car smell." Pero sa car ko ang galing parang natural lang. Of course, lagi ko rin nililinis at vacuum ang loob. :-)

When i vacuum my cars, naglalagay ako ng cinnamon sa mga carpets then after 5mins, saka ko iva-vacuum. Try nio.

Dove soap. I've received compliments from people on how my car smells great. Some even did the same for their car

Agree. Malayo siya for me. Not bad yung smell but it's nowhere near what a car smells out of the casa.

Opposite experience for me. I wanted to retain how my car smelled from the casa and that is exactly what it did. But I think maybe it has to be used when your car is still fresh out of the casa. Baka kung nawala na yug new car smell hindi na ganun ka similar yung effect. Yung mga kapatid kong lalake impressed na lalong nag amoy bago yung sasakyan. Then again baka nga iba ang new car smell ng iba ibang kotse rin. Pansin ko rin yung from my test driving. Pero imho hindi malayo ang amoy ng Newport New Car Smell. Also, it has to be inside the car to be appreciated most. Pag sininghot mo lang from the can or scratch n sniff syempre hindi pareho.

Baking soda is the best. Nung napasukan ng baha ang first car ko, ang baho talaga after. Binabaran lang namin ng baking soda after we had it cleaned. Solb!

+1. the scent is not even close to the new car smell that we are all familiar with. tried different products, but cannot find anything that replicates the new leather/plastic smell of a new car. maybe it is just a placebo effect as its name implies

Oo nga ang new car amoy plastic, leather at bagong carpet all rolled into 1. Pero yung newport amoy malinis na car but not new.

^I guess let's all agree to disagree. haha! Baka nga kailangan bago pa ang car para ma maintain ang amoy. Sa akin kasi gumagana talaga. Although nung unang inamoy ko sa lata parang hindi pero paglagay ko sa kotse dun na gumana. Parang bagong kotse ang amoy. Maaarig tama na "placebo" effect din but in my experience until now, it works great and ang ganda ng amoy bago kahit sinakay ko papuntang vet ang aso kahapon. :-) Sorry it didnt work for you guys, but it works great for me. :-) Kaya comment pa rin ako haha Sorry, makulit.

Although nung unang inamoy ko sa lata parang hindi pero paglagay ko sa kotse dun na gumana. Parang bagong kotse ang amoy. Uling ang gamit ko lalo na kapag tag-ulan. May nabibili sa 88 pesos stores na uling for shoes pero pede din siya sa kotse inilalagay ko sa ilalim ng upuan.

Sir bat ang mura naman niyan
yung nabili ko 199 pesos presyo sa blade sa ilalim nilalagay di naman gumana at baking soda talaga best choice.
Parang bumabaho pag 1week na kakumot yung kotse nasismot nyaa yung amoy ng kumot?
