annoying dashield!! pls help!!

perhaps some of you have tried those dashield dashboard products? well do you sometimes notice that the dashield refuses to stick to the adhesive? its so annoying to see the dashield out of place that i have to apply pressure just for it to stick again, then after watching a movie and i get back to my car, lo and behold it dusn't want to stick again!!!

is there a better adhesive out there that will make my dashield stick? perhaps those 3m thermal adhesives will work? i'm at a loss here guys pls help me out.

to anyone who has solved there dashield problem, pls feel free to assist.

hmmm, molding tape? ok, will give that a try. thanks. will this be better than the ordinary double adhesive tape that i found at home? the one that kinda looks like regular scotch tape. cuz thats what i use right now and it dusnt work.

Well, first of all the dashshield is borderline useless, but that's not the topic.

I'd suggest you buy double adhesive VELCRO straps instead, so you can remove and reinstall the dashshield as often as you want so that yo can clean your dash itself.

sir thaveed is right, the only thing that molded tape will annoyed you more is pag-tinanngal mo, mahirap alisin sa dashboard

am not sure kung off topic to but i have a question re: dashshield. how do i remove the stubborn tape left in the dashboard if i remove the dashshield. as sir theveed said, it's quite useless. thanks!

gas pang alis sa adhesives but im not sure if its safe sa dashboards...

On velcro tape.. how do you stick one side of velcro tape to the dashboard and the other side on the dashield? Isn't double sided tape (3M) is the most practicle for dashboard and permanent adhesive to dashield. So back to question number 1 again. What adhesive to use for dashboard.
On removal of sticky adhesive remnants on dashboard i suggest remove those grime using cloth rug soak in hot water. This is the way to remove stickers too.

sagwa nga tignan ang dashield na di pulido ang dikit...ako ang ginawa ko,linis with soap and water,then pinalitan ng 3m moulding tape...pagkakabit,i put weights on it..(hollow block plates wrapped in plastic)mga 2-3 days,ayus!..un nga lang talagng may parte ng di sagad(lalo na kung pre-made na ung dashield)..wala na ka magagawa dito..

theveed suggested the velcro tapes for the dash sheild for the reason that with velcro tapes, from time to time you can remove the dash sheild and wipe off the dust accumulating over time under the dash sheild.
problem with double adhesive tapes, in time the adhesive will dry out and leave a mark on you dash board which becomes permanent . So you're forever stuck with your dash sheild

langyang dashshield yan, madami ng napeke yan ah. isa na ako dyan dun sa aking previous car.... its either that na sobrang nakadikit sya or it does not stick at all.

useful cguro to para sa mga palagi nakapark under direct sunlight..but it makes the car's dash look like sa mga taxi, maraming abubot but pangit sa taxi kc corduroy ata karamihan hehehe imo lng naman
