Hello everybody!!! I am new here...

Thinking of making a reservation na for the Tucon 4wd R-evgt A/T Premium this week till I read yung mga issues ng Tucson.

Tok sound, burning smell around 120kph up, engine stalling, losing gear shift display, gear shifting problem, door closing not good...

Just want to know po kung solved na po ba yung mga problems na 'to? Pang long term family use po kasi and I want to make sure na wala na pong issues na major. We normally like to travel out of town pag free ang sked sa office so we need yung almost headache free na sasakyan.

Since I bought my Tucson R-eVGT Premium, March 2010, I never experienced any issues. Sulit talaga. Good purchase. 14k na odo ngayon. Hehe

You mean you never had any issues na nabanggit in the past? Could the reason be na e-Vgt Premium ang Tucson mo? I do not actually remember kung ang madalas may issues ay yung Theta models or may CRDi din..

Nakakatakot kasi yung ganun lalo na kung ang investment e medyo malaki...

Would it still be worth it to buy a Sta Fe at this time kaysa sa Tucson Premium?

i got my unit on 14 May 2011, 2.0 GLS Theta II, so far i did not experience the above only once, when i turn the A/C on walang lamig (turn to 1..then...2 and 3 sa dial) i immediately park and off the engine and start again...back to normal

for the door closing, yung rear passenger need konting lakas, which i think normal..kaya pag-balik ko rito ang lakas ng sara sa pinto ng Pajero ko hehehehe.

for the R-evgt like SG says ang issue lang nito ay sobrang bilis...

my tucson is running nearly 2K (odometer) and very satisfied.....hayyyy na mi-miss ko na sya

Mapapansin mo walang Premium owner na nag-reklamo dito. Kung meron ako issue, yun nga sobrang bilis and I love it.

We bought our Santa Fe R-eVGT 6 months after the Tucson, pero 2WD lang. Kasi the 4WD is more expensive than the Tucson Premium eh wala naman Smart Key, power seat and sunroof.

Hindi rin namin kailangan yung 4WD ng Santa Fe kasi everyday car lang sya (with occasional out of town trips). Leather seats at bagong mags lang ok na.

Magaan din kasi yung doors, bro Pag mabigat ang door napansin ko mas madali isara.

2.possible ba na ma dim kunti ang cluster lights?
3.warranty ba ay 5 yrs? in the manual it says 3 years lang, but the sales rep told me na its 5 yrs?
4.ang 4 wheel drive ba ng crdi GL ay on demand lang? meaning you just push it if its needed..not the AWD
type na if maka sense ng dulas ay agad mg.function ang 4wd?

1. Timing chain ata.

2. Pwede, bili ka nung OEM rheostat switch. Don't know how much.

3. 5 years warranty. 3 years warranty from Korea + 2 years warranty by HARI.

4. Torque On Demand + lock switch (until 40km/h only)
