2009 Tucson owners, functional ba yung light sa glove box niyo? Di kasi gumagana sakin but a fellow Tucson owner (2008 model) has a functional glove box light. Baka i need the casa to have this fixed.

I almost bought an escape but when i saw the tucson 2010, i changed my mind regarding the escape. thing is, ang yayabang pa ng mga hyundai dealers when it comes to the tucson. I dropped by a dealer to check the display in the showroom. Nagtatanong pa lang ako if they have a display and sasagutin ka kaagad ng "merong 4x4 nakadiplay pero pila ang buyers kaya first come first serve."......... naman!... di pa nga napapakita sayo yung unit, pagyayabangan ka na!.. got so turned off.

Typical. In 2005 it was the Fortuner, in 2006 the Civic FD, then 2009 it was the Montero Sport. 2010 Tucson??

Try mo rin Richard Arellano of Hyundai Shaw, he was able to serve my partner and me 2 units ( a silky bronze and a phantom black - both 2.0 GLS).

When will the CRDi Variant come out?
i'm planning on getting one, but after reading different posts here in tsikot, i have started to think otherwise regarding the gas and diesel variant.
I am also thinking of the next 2-3 years of the car, specifically the maintenance cost of the car. Diesel engines lasts longer and has less maintenance compared to the gas engines. And also, it is rare for a diesel engine to bug down in the middle of the road.

AFAIK, gas engines has lesser maintainance cost compared to diesel engines. and there's a greater chance of a diesel engine to bug down or stall in the middle of the road because of the diesel quality in our country. e.g. are the early batch of D4d engines of Toyota (w/c was i think already solved by Toyota?).

also, i think one reason why the R-engine was not yet released is that they are testing if the quality of our diesel will not cause any trouble to the new diesel engine..

thanks to everyone who recommended their dealers. will try some of them. looks like most dealers haven't got ready units to sell. they tell you to post reservations but then they tell you that they serve first those who have paid full. wow! humingi pa ng reservation, useless din pala!

sayang lang down at matagal pa na usapan kung backout kayo kasi meron na sa ibang dealer po.
