    I got free LTO at Hyundai Alabang and standard freebies included Tint and Matting. Just waiting for the unit to arrive.

    Heads up, as of yesterday Laguna Binan (Areza Motors) had a black and a white GLS units available. They offered it to me but since they couldn't match our deal we declined. Not sure if it's still available as of now....

    mas malakas at buo yung tunog nya keysa Bosch.

    whitebug & Lui, kelan dadating yung GLS 4x4?

    How much ba yung HID? Tama ba sya?

    I visited Hyundai Shaw to check out the new Tucson but I still could not pull the trigger on shelling out the P10,000 reservation fee. Also, can anyone suggest what's the best color for the Tucson? I've only seen the phantom black and have no idea on the other color choices. Can anyone help me please?
    I like all the colors except for the blue one, it doesnt seem to fit an SUV but i wouldnt say it looks bad either. I think the nicest one is the Silky Bronze, though that seems to be the most popular choice according to the orders placed for it in the dealers, super haba ng pila for it. I personally placed an order for the gray titanium since it looks sleek and i know not many people will place an order for it. My two cents.

    Tucson ix 2.0L - 166 PS * 6000 / 20.10 kg-m * 4600
    CRV 2.0L - 150 PS * 6200 / 19.40 kg-m * 4200
    Forester 2.0L - 150 PS * 6000 / 20.00 kg-m * 3200
    Escape 2.3L - 157 PS * 6000 / 20.70 kg-m * 4500
    RAV 4 2.4 L - 170 PS * 6000 / 22.84 kg-m * 4000
    Outlander 2.4 L - 170 PS * 6000 / 23.04 kg-m * 4100
    CX-7 2.5 L - 163 PS * 6000 / 20.90 kg-m * 2000

    Looking at those numbers, I don't think that the 2.0 Theta-II is underpowered compared to its peers. Although maximum torque it a bit high on the rpm range, the power starts at about 2k rpm and it is very usable in stop-and-go traffic.

    ~~~
    Update on FC, right now the reading is 11.0 L/100km mixed city and highway driving (max speed of 140 kph, SLEX Southbound). I filled the tank with Petron XCS as well. I think we can consider EDSA and Commonwealth Ave traffic at 2:30 AM as highway driving - well, technically they ARE highways but normally you spend more time in a bumper-to bumper traffic during the daytime. I also alternate between D and S modes (for some reason, D mode won't shift to 6th and I suspect it won't unless you hit high rpm or the redline at 5th gear.) Based from my observation, you can't shift to 6th unless you reach about 65-70 kph in 5th but once you are in 6th, it will stay there until such time that the engine will is in danger of stalling OR you hit the brakes at speeds lower that 60 kph.
    For everyone's benefit, I might suggest that we also post which brand of fuel we use. Napansin ko kasi sa Crosswind namin na mas maganda yung FC pag Petron Diesel Max kung ikukumpara sa iba.
    And on another note, here are more pics, posted on the other thread.
