what are the benefits of using HID? mag improve ba ang visibility or just porma lang? meron ako laging nakakasalubong na gen 2 crv and nakakasilaw siya (sa gabi). ganoon ba talaga ang HID?

hello fellow tsikoteers, for those who already installed hid both for the fog lamps and the headlights in their sf, what brand can u recommend to us who plans to upgrade and where can we go to have them installed.thanx and merry christmas to all

AFAIK
HID on projector type headlamps gives you better lighting, whiter to blue color temp giving you cool pogi points. It lasts longer than conventional halogen bulbs. Halogen emits lots of heat and when replaced with higher wattage can blur your headlight housing. HID is like 35 watts as compared to the stock 65 watts. Someone recommended I install 6000k HID coz it's supposed to be whiter and doesn't appear to be bluish so as not to attract TMG's and distract opposing traffic.

Sino nagpalit na ng busina? Baklas buong harap d ba? Anung brand bagay? nautilus, stebel, fiam, zappa, mitsuba turbine, bosch airmaster etc.

yup mag-iimprove
kung hindi projector lamp ang headlight-sabog ang ilaw kaya makakasilaw
sa projector type nakatutok o align ang ilaw kaya pede adjust focus
ang SF projector ang low beam

dami nag iinstall HID,punta ka sa suki mong car accs shops,mahal sa casa

low beam advisable sa HID ng SF
sa fog wala pa available HID (881), pero 3 na kami naka yellow fog, so far sa Maspro sa Banawe lang available 881,wala pa 881 na white,pero mas ok yellow sa fog and rain

I have my bisina changed to Stebel(forgot the model) But it sounds like an expedition oem horns. Baklas lang ang headlights dahil nanduon ang mounting ng oem horns. No need for an additional relay as our SF has its own built-in relay inside the fuse box.

question sa mga naka hid na SF..

pansin ko kasi sa hid ko eh mas mataas ang cut off ng ilaw sa right side, sa left naman hindi ____/ (ganito ang tapon ng ilaw). hindi din naman nakakasilaw sa mga nakakasalubong ko pero yun sa right side pansin ko kasi pag may kotse (sedan only, hindi kasama suv) sa right side ko na ahead sa akin, umaabot sa side mirror niya yun buga ng ilaw. iniisip ko kasi na baka nasisilaw ko yun driver nun car (im assuming here, di ko kasi alam kung nasisilaw). tanong ko lang talagang ganun ba dapat ang tapon ng ilaw sa right side? o kelangan ko i-adjust yun headlight ko sa right side? TIA.

Bro, saang shop ka nag pa-install? Dun na lang din ako kung malapit din lang sa kin kasi gusto ko yung shop na may experience sa SF. Since, kakalasin ang headlights, baka mawala sa alignment pag binalik. Thanks

Sa Hyundai Alabang ako nagpakabit. Technician ng Winterpine ang nagkabit, binigyan ko lang ng P200.00 dahil salpak lang yun sa mounting ng OEM horns.
Sa ACE hardware ka bumili ng Busina, doble presyo sa loob ng casa

I used VTX with 6000k color temp. 2 years warranty. Ok naman so far, improves visibility w/out the glare. FYI, only projector type headlamps and reflector designed for HID must be used para walang unnecessary glare. Dont use HID on your high beam and fog lamps.

check mo rin kay Benjie(Maspro) kung pupunta ka ng Banawe,80's pa yung shop nya kaya sanay na gumawa dun,before 8am open na sya-dami dun HID, busina at head units
