I know this might be a stupid question since I'm not so much into car tech stuffs but I was wondering what a turbo timer is for. Is it advisable to install one? Can someone here direct me to a link to previous threads about the subject so as to be informed? Or better yet give me a crash course about it? Your reply will be much obliged. Thanks![]()
buy me a coffee first
lahat ng may turbo kailangan palamigin muna bago patayin yung makina, lalo pag hataw or long drive.
Speaking of cooling down the engine before turning off - do you always do this kahit na mga 10kms travel lang.
Kasi office ko from my house is about 20minutes lang and less than 10kms lang to travel. Wala bang issue to?
I know that sa Manual nakalagay na cool down muna before turning the engine off especially long drives and I don't think a 10km travel is already a long drive kaya pinapatay ko na agad.
Your thoughts?
Maraming salamas sir yuichi
Sa next EB or event treat kita coffee if ever we do meet.
I have another question. Comparing gas variant to diesel, can someone give me a detailed list on parts need replacing for periodic check ups? (prices included) ex; oil- ? liters and price, para may comparison lang sa maintenance costs between gas and diesel. AFAIK, gas yata mas mura maintenance. AM I right?
Hmmm.
Thanks, yuichi.
It is better to be safe than sorry.
Angas ng SF sa Avatar mo ha.
SF owners check out top gear's december issue, looks like the new SF's (hyundai pasig test unit) have AVT DVD head units standard. it's being compared to the Outlander and CR-V though they're pricing could be wrong and the # of airbags (6 daw!) but the DVD head unit is definitely AVT. Lucky new buyers. hehehe![]()
I just got home now and let the turbo cool down for 1 minute sa old MPV kobago ko off engine. Practice lang uli ika nga. Salamas po ng marami
To SF owners, any major problems occurring from your rides that we should know about as of this time? Sa mga taga HARI, dealers etc. anything?
Share ko lang pala kanina, nakatayo ako sa labas ng coffee shop in banawe (smoking) around 10:30 pm, may dumaan na SF CRDI, ang silent ng tsikot na to grabe. After a few seconds isang suv din ang dumaan (d ko na mention what) gas variant pero mas may noise. I guess the claim about lesser engine noise is true indeed. A big plus for a diesel lover like myself.![]()
Very informative indeed. Thanks Yuichi, kailangan palang palamigin ang SF natin before turning off the the ignition key.
I owe you a cup of coffee sir!
