Sounds about right. Check for optional things that you can remove para bumaba pa (like engine treatment, fuel treatment, etc)

Bumaba nga sir sa Alabang 4.8k pero naginquire ako sa Hyundai dasma 2.2 lang sya. Semi Syntethic (normal) lang daw pwede na so sa next 5k km ko papa fully synthetic na ba ko sir?

Not sure kung accessible ang service bays but thats one thing to keep in mind. Better kasi kung makita mo aginagawa ng mechanic.

Thankyou sir, Yes po minimal nga lang nagtry ako mag inquire sa ibang branch from 4.8k 2.2k lang quote sa Dasma Semi Synthetic lang daw po nilagay. So sa 5k ko sir need ulit pa change oil?

If your oil is fully synthetic, go ahead and skip the 5k oil change but not the 5k PMS meaning you still need to replace your oil filter. But recently I got into the habit of just using semi synthetic oil (Zic X7) with the correct viscosity and change every 5k kms. It just doesn't feel right replacing your oil filter but not changing the oil.

Don't skimp when it comes to oil/oil filter changes, especially with diesel engines. You may not feel a difference but your engine will last longer. During one of my routine PMS (CASA), I was supposed to change the engine air filter & A/C filter, but since I have a good relationship with the mechanic there, he recommended a change of the A/C filter (which was really filthy by then) & not the engine air filter (which was still white after 10k kms). The air filter was then replaced on the next PMS, coinciding with the full oil/oil filter change.

Pag sa labas pina gawa void na ang warranty. Wala ng ma claclaim.. mas ok kausapin na lang ang SA na less yung iba.

SA ang mag dedecide niyan. If hindi umabot ng 5k ang tinakbo sa loob ng 1year baka pwede pa.. kahit saan hyundia e pwd ipa PMS.

Ano ang kotse mo, bro? You mean 20k kms ago pa last PMS mo? That means never ka dumaan sa major PMS (every 20k)? Kung diesel yan, papalitan fuel filter & water sensor, air & a/c filters, change oil & filter. May papalitan rin mga fluids mo.

20k na walang oil change. Ouch

Get a conventional oil change with original filter. Less than 2000 pesos. Make sure your air filter is cleaned or replaced. Clean a/c filter. Have brake pads checked..replace if necessary. Top off all other fluids. No change is necessary.

When you reach 40k, do engine oil and atf change. Dont skip this.

Wag ka na mag Casa, mapapamahal ka lang. Gawin mo, pumunta ka ng Good Gear (Taft Ave., Pasay). Bilhin mo na lahat ng kakailanganin na filters at spark plugs dun, tapos dalhin mo na lang sa gasolinahan at dun ka magpapalit ng langis atbp....

Pag nagpalit kayo ng fuel filter. It's not necessary na isabay ang water sensor palitan. 90% ng mechanics na kilala ko nagsabi. The 10% is the casa mechanic 😂

mga sir for 10K PMS na po ako, eto yung ginawa kong option para mabawasan naman yung total cost. ano pa po pwedeng tanggalin?

Brake stop and air filter element are both not necessary.

The air cleaner element...pwede naman yan til 20k. You can also take it out of the air cleaner box. I just checked mine..wala naman dumi. Even the ac filter. Madali lng i-access just take note of the arrow/direction. Malinis din.
