its not recommended in Hyundai-forums also.

and using synthetic oils actually lessen this sludging. hehehe

Just finished 2 days ago 1k pms in my accent 2014 sedan in hyundai paranaque west.
4L HGMO fully synthetic- 2414
Gasket oil plug- 31
HFT brake cleaner(x2)- 358
Oil filter(kappa engine)- 354
Misc- 300

Total=3458

I took the used oil removed from my engine & transferred to my old car.

Done my 20k pms * php 20k in hyundai pasig with my 1.4 mt accent..is it normal to all hyundai casa.

Sobrang mahal ata nyan sir. Ano naman mga ginawa nila? Naka45k nako pero wala ako matandaan na nagbayad ako ng 20k sa kahit anong PMS.

Agree sobrang mahal. Grabe 20k parang holdup. Kung ganyan ka mahal sa labas na lng and or DIY.

Kita ko na yung resibo ko ng 20k pms sir. 10k yung singil sakin. Mejo namahalan na nga ko nun pero understandable kasi mas marami sila ginagawa every 20k na PMS. Like yung 40k pms ko naman, 12k na siningil sakin. Hmm.. napaisip tuloy ako bakit mas mahal na yung 40k sa 20k eh diba dapat pare pareho lang naman ginagawa nila? Haha! Compare ko nalang nga maya yung mga resibo. Breakfast muna. Hehe! 😀

I recently had my 1K PMS for my Accent Hatch. It cost me 5300 pesos for 6L of fully synthetic oil and filter. I then asked for a PMS list. I saw that every 20k kms, mahigit 20k ang charge. When I looked at the breakdown, marami dito ay optional things like wheel balancing, alignment, engine flush etc. When I asked kung pwede tanggalin yung mga yun, pwede naman daw. Let's be vigilant ing scrutinizing the schedule. Kung kailangan ibangga yung 'list' nila to what is written in the manual mas maigi. After all pag me warranty claim, as long as nasunod kung ano yung PMS as indicated sa manual, I see no reason bakit hindi i honor yung warranty claim.

Sabi nn mrs ko 17thou pala ..may discount pala ..pero wait ko pa rin resebo on my 20k pms...sinunod ko lng yung program at lahat ng dapat * 20k pms...share to you po later

5.3 liters ang oil ng 1.6 na CRDI sir. Sobra bale ng mahigit .5 liters. Tinago ko for next top up sir.

Maximum na ba yung 5.3L? Normally you wouldn't want to fill your engine upto the max oil capacity specified in the manual.

In my case sa Rio ko, 3.8L ang max oil capacity ng unit pero upon checking sa service manual, naka specify talaga na fill upto 3.3L only. That's about 13.16% less than the maximum capacity. Logic behind, is that there will be always be some oil left after draining.

Siguro kuripot lang ako, pero practice ko talaga pag dating sa oil change is to ignore the 0.x portion of the oil. hehehe

Let me check nga sir buti nabanggit ninyo. I actually checked lang yung table kung ilan yung oil capacity nung engine. I'll read it again later kung hanggang saan dapat.

try searching sa net for the service manual. normally hindi indicated sa manual kung gaano karami fill up.

Kakosa.please check the photo of my receipt from my 20k pms ..mahal ba or ok lng...or normal lang talaga * 20k pms...first time din kasing akong magpamentain sa casa.siguro nman sa gaya ng toyota or mitsu...etc...kung sususndin talaga ang plan ng casa in pms * 20k...40k....60k....etc...pare parehas lang sila..share lang po..

Undercoating(this isnt listed in the maintenance checklist)
Spark plugs(originals were good for 60k)
Coolant(if you checked, it prolly didnt need additional coolant)
Brakestop squeel(redundant)
