Sa eon. Matipid siya.. pero asa gumagamit din. Kasi nung puro heavy traffic kami. Parang nag 9km L kami.
    .
Nueva ecija balikan around 400km. Mga 26 liter lang na consume. 1000 pesos. 16km/L.. around 100 to 130 ang takbo sa nlex, sctex, tplex.. na traffic pa kami sa santolan hangang timog..

5 kami sa loob ng auto.

For a 0.8 liter engine, mabilis yun pero malamang strained na makina. Yung small displacement engines medjo hirap to get up to speed at malakas sa gas sa umpoisa pero pag na attain na nya desired speed, matipid na.

Sa 120 stable ang eon pero it take time to gain that speed. Wala kasing RPM dial ang EON pero i think hindi ko pa max ang engine.. around 150 Speed doon max ang engine RPM..
    .
EON is design for city driving. Midyo makupad umakyat at mag accelarate,

Ah OK. I noticed that it's ranges is 180, 220 and 250 kms. The last is achievable if you are in nlex in 6th. I have done this from Bacoor to the base of Kennon rd. without the fuel guage even moving. Also from Bacoor to El Kabayo in Subic. Hard to attain this in SLEX due to traffic, it's usually 220. 180 is my average figure. I also fill up only if my fuel is 1-2 bars left, usually around 700 kms. Maybe I can't get the figure you get since my trunk is usually full of my work gear.

I only get 220-ish when I run it through NLEX undisturbed. My usual is around 190-200. Never tried running it for more than 100km one way. Usually half tank ako or a little more pag nagpapa full tank kasi dun ako nadadaan dun sa murang gas station. hehe. Yeah weight will add 1 to 2km per liter consumption.

I had to reassess my driving habits after reading your post. I observed that I can't run less than 100 kph for an extended period of time. It's usually close to or a bit over the speed limit. Although I try to get to 6th gear as quickly as possible, I also accelerate quickly to get to 100 kph. If a slow vehicle is in front of me, then I down shift to fifth or forth & accelerate first chance I get. I think it has something to do with the nature of my work. As for the car, I noticed that the ave. FC changes quickly after filling up, & if I time my fueling with a long, uninterrupted trip, the overall FC will average 5.3 - 5.5 km/100 but, if after filling up, I go through urban routes or traffic, ave. FC is really bad.

How was your reassessment? In my case, I am used to driving at the 80-90kph zone as I used to own a Galant V6. I got used to cruising at that speed. I also accelerate slowly - minsan nga parang jeep-ish level acceleration na but I don't allow the engine to lug. I guess that has some impact on the overall FC. When traffic is at a crawl, I just try to stick to one lane to avoid unnecessary acceleration.

Try it and see if anything changes

I tried to do eco driving for a couple of hundred kms, unfortunately, I don't think I have the patience to keep it up. I am always in a rush because of my work. I just tried to manage the trips instead & when I reach a hundred kph, I coast in neutral or in gear. I logged 720 kms last week & managed to squeeze in 5.5 on the computer & 17 kms/L via full tank method (mixed traffic conditions & filled up with 2 bars or 105 kms range left).

I dont know how it happened, but my FC seems better recently, when my car was still new, i was able to do 380-400kms in 1 full tank (shell fuel save). Then after 3yrs, nagstruggle na sya, i was just doing 300-320kms. But when i started using shell vpower nitro plus gasoline(euro 4) this year, balik nanaman sa 380-400kms natatakbo ko.. weird..

That's not bad. I get the same when I coast at 100kph. I get 19-20kpl when I drive flat at 80kph at the motorway and accelerate like a jeepney from stops. I agree it is something unsustainable. My usual is 17-18.3kpl. Halos pareho lang tayo hehe.

Same engine lang lahat yan. It will depend sa driving habit mo. Mas matipid ang MT kaysa AT pag marunong ng proper shifting. Or else baka mas malakas pa ang MT dahil nasosobrahan ng apak. Hatch and sedan mas mabigat lang ng konti ang sedan. Minimal lang yan. Buy what you really like

1st 2 months po ng Hatch DCT ko ave fc ay 17kms/L using tank method, ngayon pang 4th month ave fc ay 21kms/L. mukhang naging mas matipid ang Shell fs simula nung nag Euro 4 na sila
