Hyundai Kona has been awarded the maximum five-star safety rating from the independent vehicle assessment organisation Euro NCAP. This result marks out the new B-SUV as one of the safest vehicles in the segment, convincing in all four categories: Adult Occupant, Child Occupant, Pedestrian and Safety Assist.

I saw a gray market one in SLEX, looks really unique. Stands apart from the usual car design nowadays.

I see the lower end variant to be the 1liter, 3 cyl, turbo Kappa gas engine without the cross traffic & collision sensors & having a bulb type headlamp. It’ll probably be with the 16” rims. Features will definitely be decontented. Good as entry level city type car for zipping around & for fuel economy. But knowing Hyundai, when the car becomes popular, they will start stripping down the content for the car to meet it’s price range.

I've seen a lot of these in Europe recently, dami colors at may plastic cladding sa side doors. If you ask me not worth it, coz the ground clearance is like a car and too many plastics from wheel wells to the yun na nga side claddings. And liit sya parang mas maliit pa hrv.

Turn off dami plastic. Parang yun Ford Escape na puro plastic.

I was just there. I hardly saw any.

The most I've seen were in England, saw 1 in Oxfordshire and another on the M25.

This Kona has the Atkinson NU. Can anyone here who currently drives one post a feedback on this engine? I am curious to know. This engine is supposedly economical, used in hybrids.
