Hindi rin ganon katipid ano? Ano na ang mileage mo ngayon? Our 2011 Santa Fe 4x4 gets similar readings. Matipid na ang 12L/100kms which can be achieved with a light foot and minimal traffic. Usually 12+ to 13+ with worst case of around 14L/100kms.

Probably because it is 4x4?

On my trip to Subic yesterday at 5am, filled up with Excellium Diesel in Total Alabang. Usual route of SLEX, C5, NLEX, SCTEX. Tried to keep speed at 100 kms/hr but occasionally got up to 110. When I got to my destination, registered 4.2L/100 kms. The fuel guage still showed a full tank at 185 kms. On my return trip, FC registered 4.5L/100. The fuel guage moved at 255 kms. FC improved a bit at 4.4L/100. When I got to Balara, bumper to bumper traffic till I reached C5. From there, traffic was smooth & took SLEX to MCX. Got home to Bacoor with a final FC of 4.6L/100kms.

I fill up weekly in only one gas station, so more practical to have fuel to the brim.

But the advertised claimed FC by HARI for the Accent of 59 kms/lit (1.6 L/100 kms) is possible if you are not in Earth. Hell, the best I did was 2.4L/100 (41.6 kms/lit) going down Marcos highway coasting 4th-6th gears without stepping on the pedal.

Haha! Baka naman they included coasting with the engine off? Kaso that will ruin the turbo.

    EON. 14km/li.
    60percent hiway. 40percent city. 2weeks old.
Feeling ko nga mabigat pa paa ko sa pedal. Mas ma iimprove ko pa yan. Then baka mas mag improve pa yan after 1000km pms.

Sabi ng mekaniko ng Casa, yung taxi units kasi abusado ng driver. Mineral oil ang gamit, di nasusunod ang recommended oil at filter (air, oil at fuel) changes, walang patayan ng makina at aircon, maski sa lunch break. Walang proper cool down. Pero pag aalagan mo at di titipirin, matibay yan.
