Sir, okay lang po ba ask ko lang sana kung ung efficiency ng accent na diesel is better po sa mirage na sedan.
Bago lang ako kaya di ako mkpost ng new thread eh okay lang sana maki post ako dito. If you will allow.
Im conidering kasi mirage vs accent eh dahil diesel diesel ung isa, baka mas mura pero dahil 1.6 sya baka kako ganun din consumption sa cost in the long run kahit diesel sya and gas ung mirage pero 1.2 ung mirage.
Cost lang po ang concern ko in the long run.
Please help me understand sir. Salamat po.
I got an accent, my friend got a mirage 1.2. We both work and live around the same location.
Here is what i got.

Which goes on to prove that the Diesel is not the ideal engine for puttering around the city. Short trips, stop & go traffic in the city will also not be healthy for a diesel fuel fed engine. Go to any You Tube video reviewing a diesel car & they always say a gasoline engine is more suited for the city. On long drives, nothing beats the diesel.
hmmm. . . somethings off here. hard to believe that accent w/ 1.5 diesel engine would only do 8km/l? my innova diesel a/t does better w/ double digit mileage per liter, baka sobrang tindi ng traffic ng route nyo.
Edsa then sucat rd. Rush hour. Ü

Hatch mirage yan.
Apples to apples comparison, dapat same fuel level. Ü
Malabo compute pag different fuel capacity.
You mean how many kms will it take to break even? Depends on your purchase price. How much na ba yan ngayon?
*johnnythore, Btw, 1.6 L crdi turbo yun accent. Fun to drive, bigger car than mirage.
But if total cost is your priority, not comfort, speed, mirage ka.

Hahaha! So true.sucks for us.
Btw i computed the distance traveled to break even. Its 578k kms. Ü
But i hate 3 cyl engine's unbalance shudder feeling upon acceleration. So for me, accent pa rin.

hey! happy 1000th post!
578K km... matagal yan... using my driving history, that'd be about 48 years.
in our rust-prone tropical weather with sometimes nearby seawater, meron pa kayang chassis (o sige. monocoque body!) yung sasakyan by that time?
heh heh.
i was also initially uncomfortable with my 3 cylinders' seeming vibrations.
but after a few weeks, ok na. na-sanay rin. or is it, na-brake-in na rin?

I was doubtful of 3-cylinder engines until I found love with my Fox 1.0L turbo. It has the power and torque to propel the Fiesta from 0 to 100 kmh in just over 9 seconds.
Ford’s and BMW’s new 3-cylinder 1.5L turbo engines are more powerful, rated at 200hp.

Yeah, those 3 cyl from bmw, audi and ford are good.
But comparing those to the mirage and wigo engines... Its night n day. Ü

Hello! May marerecommend ba kayong talyer na maayos at tapat magtrabaho? I need some work to be done sa Hyundai Accent ko. I got into an accident last Sunday and regret not being able to renew our comprehensive insurance this year. Nasa Hyundai casa sya ngayon to get an estimate for repairs pero ganon pa man maaring sa labas ko pa din ipagawa. Any recommendations would be a big help!
May we know what area you are right now? Someone might recommend a shop in Cebu while others will recommend somewhere in Cavite. However, if you live in Davao...
You might want to ask the mechanics of Hyundai, they might give you a better offer. Once I've heard, not all works are done inside casa. Rather, they have an accredited shop for certain works.
