4x2 lang . . . powerful at fuel efficient siya . . . kaso, matagtag masyado . .

Saw a white Elantra with license plates this week. I got my Elantra June 1, my agent called just 2 days ago to say that my license plate is already available
My Tomato red has 3M BC35 sa windshield and BC20 sa windows.
AFAIK, metallic tints can provide interior privacy without sacrificing outside visibility. Matter of preference nga lang ang chrome effect.
On my part, I prioritize function over form. Subjective kasi kung aesthetics na ang pag-uusapan.
I read somewhere that metallic tints can interfere with radio reception, especially if glass-printed ang antenna tulad ng sa elantra, altho di ko naman napapansin ito sa elantra ko.
You can take a look at the pics I posted of my car on page 71 of this thread to get an idea. Altho di ko pa napakabit at that time ang windshield tints. HTH
It depends kung anong mas trip mo. If you want the all black look, then go with black/CS. If you're ok with the metallic look, then BC. What rmolivar said is true about BCs, you get the same (or maybe a bit better) heat rejection but not the darkness. As for me and my sis, mas trip namin ang black, so we went with super black on all windows and medium black on the front windshield. Got to take a pic over the weekend.
BC has a higher heat rejection versus 3M CS. But on a white car, the CS lineup really is nice to look at for the black-on-white look.
Even on a Sonata with a glass roof, I still opted for the BC series. Why? Function versus form. Plus, it's more expensive compared to the CS.
Bwahaha.. joke!
Not really a fan of shiny tint. Not to say BC gives you a mirror finish like the old one way, pero for sure metallic look siya. This is what I had on our old Gen 3 Starex. Since the older BC's darkest shade was dark magic, which was BC20 lang ata, nagpapatong ako ng dark smoke. The combo of shiny tint + extra black backing sort of dulled out the sharp metallic color. Yes, makintab pa din siya, but not as shiny as without the extra black backing.
So malabo rin maka interfere sa reception, unless pina tint muna bago kabitan ng glass printed antenna, which is highly unlikely.
I never had a problem with my GPS connection, radio signals, or cellphone signals due to my BC35 tint on the windshield ;)
My BC 20 sometimes gives my GPS a hard time finding the satellites. Moving while it does its sat searching also does not help. Hehehe!
Share ko lang po yung nakita kong comparison between Civic, Elantra and Cruze . . .
Mukha namang balanse ang evaluation . . . although the review mentioned na mababa ang headroom, less REV happy, at so-so ang suspension, the conclusion proves na sakto lang ang elantra sa usual Pinoy requirements . . . fuel efficient, very good transmission, low and mid range torque, good interior, and overall, a competent drive . . .
Since majority ng pinoy ay below 6 feet, I suppose di natin issue yung low ceiling/headroom hehehe . . .
Yun nga lang, andito ako ngayon sa Malaysia, Land of the Proton Cars, at mabibilang sa daliri ko ang mga Hyundais hehehe.
Only saw 2 Tucson (IX35), 2 Hyundai Matrix, One Sonata and a very old Excel . . .
2012 Honda Civic vs. 2011 Chevrolet Cruze vs. 2011 Hyundai Elantra Comparison Test
of the three, being compared, seeing those pictures, parang ang civic is a Generation Behind in terms of aesthetic design elements...
Just my 2 cents though...
