2011 Hyundai Elantra [MERGED]

Hi! 1.6 AT Bronze due for delivery tomorrow.... 1st time car owner here mga bossing... Any tips that I should remember in maintaining our Elantra??

While I was cleaning inside my Elantra, there was a sudden sound from the rear part on the driver's side of the car. Akala ko tinamaan ng basketball pero malayo na iyong mga dumaan. Tiningnan ko distance ng pinkataas ng gulong ftom the arch of the body frame above it. It was smaller by about 1 cm compared to the opposite side ng car. Ground clearance of the body frame on the left & right sides near the rear wheels also had that difference. Significant na ba ang 1cm difference of suspension between the left & right sides? If I test the shock absorber by pushing down the car, parang mas malambot sa rear ng driver side.

pachek mo nalang sa kasa, pag biglang lumagatok baka naputulan ka ng spring but this rarely happen. regarding sa shock mahirap i determine na masmalabot ang left sa right, since our rear suspesion is not independent.

Looks like a GLS Limited variant released in the U.S. & Korea

It's a USDM limited. He also got the projectors from korea Avante.

Pwede! Kinda reminds me of the 17s on the later Limited Edition Vios (Rota Bolognia) though. But then, nonetheless, very nice.

Totoo ba ito sir? Baka kasi claim nila bigger rims (17") was not intended for local elantra thus warranty will be voided - kahit sa states meron 17" na elantra. Alam ko kasi sa honda kahit yung OEM Civic SI rims ma-void yung warranty ng local civic.

Ingat lang dito if you want to be technical about it. In the case of the Vios na Limited Edition (17" Rota GR-A), supposedly mavo-void yung warranty even if you replace it with other 17" rims. A casa went as far as saying even if you downgrade to the OEM 15" (say you wanted 15s lang), void na din warranty. Kalokohan IMO, but then that's them.

Yup but he replaced his headlight to the ones from Avante in korea. Got that pic on the US elantra club. It was a member's ride there. He said Sonata 18" rims and Korea Avante headlights yung mods niya.

To those who've upgraded, what horns will fit the Elantra? The stock meep meep will not cut it. Sayang naman din, nice new car, but shameful puny horns.

And does the 1.8 GLS have back up sensors already? Doing some research for my "drive it till it drops dead" sister on her 1.8. No plates yet, so the car is still in my folks' house in the South lest my sis have a run-in with the law of the Republic of Makati. I only checked on the unit once, and I can't recall kung may back sensors na. I would ask her, but I know that would be an exercise in futility, so meron na nga ba? I think these would be a big help to her since she's coming from an '00 Grand Vitara with not much overhangs.

I'd go crazy with 18s, but knowing her, she'd just bastardize them. So super dark tint, horn and back sensors lang siguro ang upgrade, kung wala pa.

Front upper grille with Hyundai logo ang horizontal chrome bar, definitely not the ones sold by HARI. Matagal na ko naghahanap ng ganung assembly, wala ako makita piyesa

wow this is good, malapit na sa high end variant pala ang HL ng mga elantras natin we just have to put the projectors inside.
