April 17th, 2013 08:19 PM #2796wala ako balita na may new elantra na dadating ang alam ko yung coupe lang baka ilabas daw dito 3rd or 4th quarter thus year.
P44k insurance is too much for an elantra price range of P868k, alam ko arnd P25k lang yan with aog pa yan sa mga insurance company like mapfre, bpi ms etc.

April 19th, 2013 12:23 AM #2798If it's okay depends on you.
I suggest going for a test drive to really feel the car. But here are my feedbacks:
-FC wise, I've been getting an average of 8.0km/L city driving recently using manual computation.
-one of the major complain I have with the car is that you oftentimes bump into the roof pillar when getting in, especially if you're a tall person. Medyo mas prone ka na tumama sa pillars because of its fluidic design.
-also if you're used to older Hondas/ Toyotas, you might find the ride a bit harsh. Medyo malakas ang tunog niya if nadaan ka sa malalim na pothole. Also, if you approach a hump at an angle (naka-siete), medyo jarring yung ride. But the tradeoff of this is that you have good handling (especially at zigzag roads and avoiding jeeps, pedestrians, etc.)
Other than that, very happy ako with my Elantra 1.6AT. She never fails to put a smile on my face everytime I take her out for a spin.Transmission is very smooth, fast and precise, handling is solid but light, fuel consumption is okay, it has a nice stock sound system (people think I have a sub, and I get praises for the changing lights of the headunit), it looks beautiful and ang lakas niyang humatak, especially if you drop to 3rd gear at 80km/h. For what its worth, I think you can't go wrong with the 1.6 Elantra.

yes mauuntog ka pag pasok sa driver side kung di ka maingat.. pero masasanay ka rin. pareho lang ng sa honda city, yan din ang complain ko.

Manhid na yung ulo sa kakauntog kaya masasanay din
Kidding aside, I guess the ride wouldn't be a problem as I currently drive a Grand Vitara. Di naman siguro mas matagtag ang sedan. How's the passenger row, hindi naman masikip?
If you have other comments, please share especially the negative. Wala akong time to browse the other pages kasi ang dami na
Will just go to Glorietta this weekend coz Hyundai has a display there. They're on a mall tour this April all over the Philippines.
